The college is a prestigious college with a very great history. The modern cadets are working hard to maintain the pride and prestige of the college remains same. The college has a great environment for study and training.

Our course is a good professional course, essentially for the Explorers. A lot of opportunities are available in this field.,where u can face different peoples, different companies, different situations..

If you are looking for a good career though. We can give a good way for your placement. Various good companies comes here time to time or regularly for the placements of the cadets. College placement is about 70%.

College Events

College celebrates all the major festivals, like holi, dusshera, diwali, Christmas, new year, mahashivratri, janamasthmi, College conducts its fest, sports events, athletic events, aquatic events etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is feasible for the course. 2,25,000for boys & 1,40,000 fir girls is not a big amount according to the facilities. All the stationaries, uniform expenses, books, fooding, hostel everything is included into it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The University offers scholarship to top 33 cadets per semester. So all you need to do is to study hard and try to get that. Every semester 33 cadets receives the scholarship provided by the University.

Campus Life

The laboratories are good enough to train the cadets fir their bright future at sea. Sports facilities are also sufficiently good for better health and physique. Library is full of good books covering course, to novels etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees is included in your semester fees. Hostel provides you a good infrastructure, clean environment, fresh drinking water, clean bathrooms and other things too. The hostel is furnished with free wifi.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumni association DRACEA helps a lot to the cadets in every aspect which they can handle by them. They provide extra classes for placements, supports the college for placements, helps in fests etc.

Placement Experience:

After taking admission in the college, the placement drive is started for the student immediately from the second semester. All the information about which is sent to the class wise group and if the student is eligible, you can apply immediately after seeing your experience. The experience is very beautiful. You learn new things. You also understand how the interview round is conducted and what the eligibility is. Most of the companies that come to the college include renowned companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Deollite, etc., which hire students. The biggest package of Rs 7 crore per NM has been given so far from Sandeep University in the entire Nashik district.Which is a matter of great pride. Sandeep University is the only college where the largest job fair seminar in Maharashtra is attended. In which students from all over Maharashtra come and give live interviews to companies that have come to the college, give their region and announce hiring on the spot.Therefore, this college provides the greatest opportunity for students to meet all the renowned companies under one roof in one place. During the interview, the student's critical thinking skills and his/her inclination are shown rather than CGP and marks to determine whether he/she is eligible or not. In my experience, the college provides such strong education that at least four students are placed in companies every week. I am currently completing my graduation and will be starting my career immediately after that.

For admission in IMU, one must have 10+2 with having atleast 60% in pcm and atleast 50 % in english. The application forms of IMUCET are released in may- june, application fees is 1000 rupees. SC/ST and OBC enjoys the benefits of reservation and are even relaxed with age limit. Entrance exam was not held on 2020 and 2021 and the admissions were based on intermediate and pcm percentage. I have applied for Tolani Maritime University along with the Indian Maritime University. I have cleared both of the exams. The reason I don't opt for TMI(Tolani Maritime University) as it has too many fees for the BSc Nautical Science program. The reason I opt for Indian Maritime University is that the university is a government University and fees are also reasonable for the program and placements are good.
