I love the vibe of our college. The jamming that goes on in the cafeteria . The
College crowd is pretty accepting, and people from all around the country are here
I am a part of the Badminton society of our college and it pays attention to our involvement in various inter college level games.

Dislikes

College politics is intolerable sometimes. The student union is disturbing.
Cafeteria and its prices are unfairly maintained being a government college
Infrastructure development is required. It's not spread in a very large area though rates A ++ by NAAC.

Course Curriculum Overview

Political science is a great subject for people who understand the science of politics. Everything around us has been politicises today. Nothing holds meaning in real sense. To deal with situations like these we must understand it's working phenomena

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 14191 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am in the first year of my college life and till now I have had to pay just the admission fee which was 14191 rupees. I got admitted under OBC category and the fee structure is pretty same for other category students as well.

Campus Life

Till now it's great . I love being around the jamming sessions in our college. It has a very bollywoodish vibe. The library of our college is one of the biggest and the best libraries of Delhi University where one could spend its entire day. There are a number of clubs where students can take their creativity to next level.

Admission

This college has been ranked 17th all over the country and has an A ++ Rating from N A AC. It has a good college crowd . I was admitted through CUET , so didn't have much choice. I cleared this college's cut off and therefore got admitted to it .

Faculty

I haven't taken any exam yet but there is an assignment of 25 marks before every semester, which are twice held every year. The faculty members are amazing and worth coming college for . The difficulty level of the exam depends on how well you have prepared for it

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
