Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is up to date, and the difficulty gradually increases in the three years of the program. There is an examination at the end of each semester, and then the syllabus changes a little. Majorly, new topics are introduced, and in the next examination, the old topics are not taken into account.
Internships Opportunities
There are two cells, Abhyas and Disha, that find great internships in multiple roles like sales, business development, research, etc, from many companies that provide stipends as well to help support students manage their expenses.
Placement Experience
There is a placement cell that gets the best placements and internships. The average placement package is 9 lakhs per annum, up to 30 lakhs per annum. Every year, multiple companies come to the college for campus placements; students get them in their 5th semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee for a general student is Rs 30000. The students who enter through the general seats by taking the CUET exams choose three subjects related to their studies in your 12th. Additionally, there are quotas and scholarships for international students and OBCs.
Campus Life
The campus is open, and the classrooms are divided department-wise, with multiple labs for each department. There are two canteens, a giant amphitheatre, multiple lawns and a multi-storied library. The college has multiple events, annual fests of each society and Mecca, the annual college fest.
Admission
I applied to other colleges at Delhi University. My first choice was Hindu College since, according to NIRF rankings, it is the top college in India today, with a department 1st in Arts and Sciences and 2nd in Commerce.
Faculty
The student-to-faculty ratio is very high, making the lecture very difficult to understand and cope with. Although the teachers are very qualified and experienced due to the ratio it is very difficult for them to effectively part their knowledge.
