- Definitely Msc from Delhi University will lead you to know innerself . You will come to know the real self and purpose from the starting very weeks
- You'll be competing with 400+ students . That in itself is a great exposure.
- Standard and applied lectures you'll come across. Professors are much trained and experienced .
Dislikes
- All studies apart , If u are wandering for good food . Then do visit outside the department as the canteen of the department itself doesn't offer that much variety and taste.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum's focus on fundamental concepts like classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and thermodynamics attracted me. Additionally, the integration of practical lab work and problem-solving in real-world contexts is appealing as it ensures a balanced understanding of theoretical and experimental physics. Introducing more computational tools and simulations would help students understand complex concepts better. Moreover the exams are held at regular intervals with proper time space in between. no need to worry
Fees and Financial Aid
For the Msc physics for the Delhi University, you need to pay around 20k for one year including tution, lab and all other necessities for obc category . Moreover certain scholarships are also available. The fees for now has increased from last few years as before it was around 15 or 16k .
Campus Life
Annual and technical festivals are not going to happen in the postgraduation . Meanwhile colleges do hold them rather that the department. Department has a central science library where most of the books are available, moreover library in arts faculty can also be a good option. For the classrooms : All classrooms and Labs are equipped with AC. Meanwhile , a physics society is there in the department which ensures the organization of talks , seminars etc .
Admission
Basically I gave IIT Jam for doing msc from IIT ,but I couldn't score much to get into iit . Meanwhile gave cuet entrance exam for getting into the DU . As after IITs DU is the best option. Basically you need to meet the eligibility criteria or say cutoff for getting admission . Cutoff is moderate and if you belong to any category that would be easier too.
Faculty
Faculty is best here . Every professor has their personal office or cabin where you can visit if need consultant or any help . The respective board with all the information of room no.s and professor name is there in the department.Faculties are quite easily approachable. The Total strength has been divided into certain groups say odd and even (P1,p2---p8) with the average of 35-40 students. Marking scheme : 30 marks - internals 70 marks - theory exams
