Course Curriculum Overview

4

What makes My course B.A. (Hons.) business Economics different from Other Courses. My Course B.A (Hons.) Business Economics or for simplicity BBE is a professional course like CA, Doctor and Law while B.Com. (Hons.) Or B.com. and Eco. (HONS.) are academic courses. BBE or Business Economics are based on Practice Knowledge in the field of Businesses and their Economics. It deals with the relationship between Labour and Capital how much required and how we utilize our resources completely. Those students who are looking for an MBA in the future. I will recommend them to take admission in BMS/BBE/BFIA Courses because they provide extra weightage in CAT exam.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, my College Placement Cell'Asprie' and other Societies are always active and they provide internship opportunities from time to time. Some of the Our Seniors who are the heads of our Societies have Good Relationship with Corporate world and HRs in which they automatically provide internship time to time to the students.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are not best but not that bad in our College. According to Previous Records, A Company name'S&P Global' provides the placement of Average 3-4 lacs and a maximum 5 lacs and Another Company 'Indigo airlines' provides the maximum placement of 7 lacs.

College Events

5

Our Biggest College 3 Days Fest TATVA are held 2nd or 3rd week of February. Approx 2000-3000 students per day attend our fest and a lot of Sponsors and Artist attracts towards our fest. In 2018 Artist name Fazilpur Invited in our College for On stage performance. And Our Second Biggest 3 Days Sports Fest 'RANBHOOMI' that manage and Executed by BBE department and their Students only. Approx 1000-2000 students per attending our Sports Fest and Only BBE and BMS students are allowed to participate in our Sports Fest. In 2018 the Actor name 'Manish Paul' attended our fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Combined 3 years fees of B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics cost around 55000-58000. 20,000 for the first year and then 23,000 for the 2nd and 3rd year. But in other courses such as B.com or Eco. Hons. And other courses the combined 3 year fees cost around a maximum of 25000-30000.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not Sure about any Scholarship regarding Poor Families or SC/STs Except Disability Students. But you can grant loans from Delhi University for further studies of that not possible so, plenty of Societies and groups are available to fund further studies.

Campus Life

4

In Our College, the Societies and students are so, active that time to time lots of extracurricular activities, fests, and Social camps are held and helps the students to make progress in the personal development and Communications Skills of Students. Our Biggest Societies TEB and Mercadeo are the two Jewels of Our College. I recommend Students Must join those two Societies whenever they get Admission into our College.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Our College has a great infrastructure and all the facilities are available. We will have a 24x7 hrs library and we have the available facility for Laptops also. But our College somehow lacks the facility of Hostel which is fulfilled by nearby Affordable PGs and Rooms for Students. So, we don't have to face the problem of Accommodation.

Alumni/Alumna

Our College Crowd and Alumni network is the main part of our College and our seniors are quite helpful regarding notes and providing reading material. They guide our batchmate and junior how to study, which topics are important and where to get tutors.

Exam Structure

Exams are taken by Delhi University Based on the CBCS Credit System of Six months semesters. The Marks are alloted as follows:- 20 marks for internal +5 for Attendance and 75 for the final exam. Which held on the 6th month of a Semester.

The Admission procedure in my course is entrance based paper Name 'DU - JAT' taken by Delhi University. Students have to meet the eligibility criteria first. Student Should be scored a total of at least 60% marks in combined weightage of four subjects in which Maths and English are Compulsory. Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose political science because i want to go for government exams and political science is an important subject for clearing government exams As per my info, my curriculum is very close to syllabus for exams like UPSC and SSC For improving teaching methods, projectors should be installed and implemented as it helps us to understand and see it more better The frequency of exam is twice a year as semester exam, and exam is not very tough nor too easy, it is medium level that anyone can score good marks if studied well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Regarding course curriculum, I am not satisfied the additional courses like SAC, VAC, AEC have no purpose, they are just a headache which makes it difficult for students to focus on the main subjects, although I am in favour of GE subjects. The marking scheme of 90 marks written paper and 70 marks for internal is also great. Apart from this talking about political science honours curriculum, I will say it is pretty great, there are difficult concepts and bulky material to study from but it could be improved by reducing the weight/ pressure put up by other subjects- sec,vac...

Companies visit are often at our college like Deloitte, wipro , Infosys , KPMG etc but options are wide only for commerce background students they are limited for arts faculty students like me. Highest package is about 6 to 7 lpa while most of the package ranges between 4 to 6 lpa percentage of students getting are average and they are mostly from comm letce and economic or business background. I would go for journalism and choose IIMC for my master's.
