Course Curriculum Overview
Electrical Engineering is quite good branch because it's open for both Tech and Core jobs First semester curriculum is more like You get the exposure of every branch, because we have to study each and every subject but after 1st year we have to study our main Core subject Course is quite good but I think there should be classes where we go outside of the classroom to see the the real life problems Exams are quite easy if you study good
Internships Opportunities
Lots of internship opportunities, there is a special cell which brings internship opportunities in the college. At 3 rd year students are eligible for Internship Companies such as Oil India, Godrej,HCC and many other Small startups

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
1- I'm a OBC category student family income below 1 lakh. So for a year I hardly pay around 1 lakh( including hostel fees) 2- I don't have to pay tuition fee, cautions money is around 10100/- per semister, regarding registration fee- SAF-35000/-, PAF-45000/-, After JOSAA counselling its cost me around 35000 +45000+22500 = 102500/- 3- One of my friend from the same caste OBC but family income above 5 lakh rupees, have to pay additional 25500/- along with 102500/-. So he have to pay around 128000 4- for OBC we have PM Yashasvi scholarship and We can apply for other private scholarship also like ONGC, reliance foundation etc.

Admission
I have given jee mains + jee advanced, so I was trying for every IIT and NIT but unfortunately my score was not that good , that's why I choose NIT Silchar. The admission process of this college is quite simple 1st Appear for JEE mains 2nd score a good mark 3rdApply for JOSSAA counselling 4th Select NIT Silchar After the result declaration of JOSSAA counselling, you will be in our college
Faculty
There are a lot of faculty I have seen. However we can get help from every professor, PHD students and our Seniors also. so overall the help and support is quite good Faculty such as Prof Binoy Krishna Roy, Prof Lalit Chandra saikia ma'am are some of the most helpful professors I have ever meet I think there's no such rude faculty in our college In our college, In each semister there are 3 major tests Midsem, Class test, End sem. Overall moderate, curriculum is quite relevant with practical problems.
Other Applied Colleges
NIT Trichy | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
