The political science in general teach you everything about this world . It's combined with ancient history in its aspect of how the societies used to be run and what were the principles which had established the civilisations in general .and then we learn how the government of a nation build it's people's life and how the write society is just a complex structure where everyone is dependent on each other and how the morals and ethics and law and order keep people from ruining the society . It increases the comprehensive skills of a person regarding situations both in work and personal life .

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I have not interned with any company yet but I have heard from students that there are companies which give placements to students who. Are determined and skilled . There is also a placement club which one can join for more information regarding internships and placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The time when I got admission I paid 18k and according to me it's not that high comparing to other courses and universities. I had asked my friends if there was any category wise concession but there was not and the fee structure is also around this limit . It's not increasing much every year .certainly I am not aware that if this was yearly or by each sem .

Campus Life

4

The library on campus is very huge and well built . It's not fully ac but well ventilated. It has a wide array of books that u'd ever need in your college life. And also has this cyber library where students can access the laptops . There are projectors in each class for lessons . The student clubs are the best part. They have clubs for acting dance music plays awareness .you name it they have it. The club leaders are very fun and so are there activities and events . There are fest organised around the year druings festivals and farewell seasons. For sports the ground is huge it has cricket area . badminton area basketball court NCC .and there is student council which is very helpful and very approachable regarding any issue

Admission

The college I got admission into and the college I wanted to get into are different colleges . As for what went wrong was my Cuet score didn't make it to the cutoff and I got admission into this one. And now that I think about the experience that I got here it was something very eye opening as for how the college life is in reality . The environment here is less competitive in regards to other colleges that I had applied to and the fun part is definitely more here . The campus lifehere is very vivid that all those colleges which are only known for their academic side. This one has a fun side to it which is what if expected of a good college .there is a good balance here and the vibes here are definitely much more positive. I got admission into gargi through Cuet which is college entrance exam for all major unis. To get admission into DU is a f

Faculty

The faculty is pretty good .they are very kind and approachable .the watching method varies for every one and each subject. But my experience with the faculty was very good .they were always helpful.the only things which bothers me is that the time of classes is not very scheduled. Sometimes the classes are cancelled at the last minute and the timetable is always being reworked.the faculty that I had was nitish Kumar sir .Pooja Rani mam and joya bhattacharya for my major subs and they are very nice teachers.

Other Applied Colleges

Lady Shri Ram College for Women - [LSR] | Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Political Science)

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.
