Likes
- The college's infrastructure is upgraded and well equipped, classrooms are airconditioned and wifi is available across the campus. College also has great sports facilities with a big ground and sports equipment is also provided.
Dislikes
- The administration does not seem to be serious, they are not available to reach out to most of the time and do not show a positive attitude.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is a mix of Bcom(hons) and Eco(Hons) with a more applicability perspective, in the course we are taught to use softwares like Excel and R. Exams takes place every semester(6 months).
Internships Opportunities
Companies like EY, Bain, Accenture and many others visits for hiring interns, the roles offered are quite dynamic. The placement cell provides training sessions for the internship and placement process.
Placement Experience
Students can go for placements from 5th semester onwards, before that only internships are offered. 170+ offers were made by 103+ companies in the session 2023-24, with highest package of 23.05 lpa and average package being 6.05 lpa. 60% of students who applied for placements got placed, many students opt for masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee is ~46000/yr, there are no extra charges for library or other facilities provided by college but an examination fee has to be paid every semester which is around 1100. Students of all categories have to pay the same fee, there are scholarships available for students belonging to certain categories and to students excelling in acdemics and sports.
Campus Life
Different departments and societies of the college organises many competitions and events, the annual cultural fest of the college is Lashkara that takes place every year in March. The college has one of the biggest library in DU, 3 stories with seperate air conditioned reading room, all books related to courses are available here and no extra charge is to be paid for library. College also has one of the biggest grounds with all necessary sports equipment.
Admission
The college has better infrastrcture, air conditioned classrooms, wifi, big library and sports facilities. I had appleid to other colleges but the one's I got selected in lacked in these and also I got the course of my preserence here only.
Faculty
The teachers we get are very supportuve and knowledgeable. The same teachers teach us throughout graduation, which creates a nice bond and understanding with their methods of teaching. Teachers are available for our queries and also help us through non-academic issues.
