Course Curriculum Overview

5

There are specific aspects which influenced by decision to choose this course across different courses such as I am a passionate student in history and political science that's why I choose BA program as my UG degree. This I'm helps us to pursue the phd in the future academic pursuits. Even my course is ready to learn and complete but there are certain aspects which have to cover under this for the improvement such as even our codes relevant but little bit it lacks practical learning and lab work and even change the teaching style will also transform accordingl. We have to examination in a year and timing of examination is 6 months each and it is a moderate level examination anyone can pass the exam with a study of 15 to 20 days

Internships Opportunities

5

There are various companies who visited our college for the internship such as Mahindra, swiggy, Zomato, Dethrone, Aditya Birla capital etc and roles offered are finance, operation HR content writer, digital marketer, etc full stop and stipends usually depends upon a skill set and roles and responsibilities of an individual. Projects and outcomes are mention in the internship document of a company

Placement Experience

5

Students are eligible to set in the placement from 5th semester. There are various companiested our college such as KPMG, Reliance, bain and company etc and the number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college the highest package was 25 lacs and average package was 4 lacs and profile offered are audit finance etc and around 70% students please from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees which I paid in the college is around rs.19670. this single time payment includes tuition fees, caution fees, admission fees and other compulsory charges which required for certain course same who belongs from the other categories such as SC,ST, etc. and the name of the scholarship which available in my college is NSP that is national scholarship portal where student can easily apply and select the certain criteria under which they lie and amount of a scholarship depends upon individual to individual as per their family income background.

Campus Life

5

The name of our annual fest is kalakriti which will held in the month of March. We have 3000 + range of books and journals which available in a reading centre and ultimately which is easily accessible for the students and teachers. We have various facilities and in our classroom such as dustbin, ventilation, projector, lecturer desk, etc. we also have different sports and extra curricular activities in our campus such as basketball, music, Western dance, traditional dance, etc. there are various student run initiative and societies available in the college which have different areas of interest such as finance, marketing, geography, history etc and which have great impact on the student life in an positive manner.

Admission

I didn't apply for any other college I just apply for Delhi University and I got this college as my confirmed seat and I choose this course because I am a passionate student in history and political science who want to pursue PhD in future. No I didn't get rejection from any other college. Han basically the admission process through common seat allocation system and eligibility is 12th plus exam accepted for the scores is common University entrance test which is most prefer by the student and cut off for this course is 720 out of 800 and my overall admission experience is fantastic.

Faculty

5

We have 1 teacher on 70 student and faculty to student relationship is awesome where faculties are always ready to help and guide the students throughout their learning patterns and indifferent areas and faculties are easily approachable because of the better relationship. I like the faculty of history because he makes the complicated statements into the similar one and I think he is the best faculty across our course. The name of the faculty which I personally do not like is the faculty of geography because of his teaching style is little bit older or traditional and is approach for the particular subject is not as per todays need. There are two examination in a year and it is easy level examination where anyone can pass the exam just a preparation of 15 to 20 days and there are certain students of failed to clear the exam who even didn't study at the end of the semester and our course curriculum very much relevant for the for the academic characters.

Night Life

5

We do not have any gym available in our college but we have canteen where fresh and hygienic foods are cooked and baked. We also have reading area or library where diverse range of books and generals are available. We do not have any hostel facility in our college and our campus timing is 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. there are various famous hangout faces which is outside the college such as DLF select city points Park, garden, etc. we also have locality safe to roam around at night in our college campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

British classics, Indian writing, postcolonial literature builds a strong foundation in literary analysis, critical thinking, and interpretation, which are useful skills. As for comprehensiveness, the curriculum is quite broad. It covers multiple literary periods, genres, and critical theories over the three years, so you’re not really missing out on the essentials. In that sense, it feels academically complete. But sometimes, it leans more towards breadth over depth you move quickly from one topic to another.

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The curriculum was overall good and being a economics honours courses it was challenging at times. The course offers many things for students interms of their further academic pursuits or any placement they are looking for. Talking about the areas of improvement and teaching methods there are none. The exams of the respective subject are to happen. They take test 1 , test 2 and there is final exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I choose this subject because I like history and want to know more about it . History have the best opportunities to pursue the UPSC , Anthropology, archeology and we can learn more about historical researches . The faculty im the department of history is updated and well versed in the field of history and have adopted student friendly teaching methods which make me suggest this subject in JMC to the students who likes to pursue higher studies in history. The exams are conducted at the end of every semester with moderate difficulty level .
