1.It is under makaut university .As the guidelines per makaut they follows the course curriculum.Generally there are 5-6 subjects per semester and eac subjects have 5-8 module average. 2. In every year we participate a technical training session which gives us knowlwdge ofreal world industrial experience and it alsp provides a certificate by the training and placement cell of this college. 3.In each semester we gone through 4 contineous aqssesment ca1,ca2,ca3,ca4 and and external practical exam and end semester theory exam. 4.the difficulty of this exam is moderate. 5 But in some cases the university are not provide proper time to study and prepare for ourself for the exam .

1. From the 6th semester students are eligible to get chance in placement. 2. The company TCS, Tech Mahindra,accenture,altemetrick,p360,capegimini etc and few more companies. 3.The official highest package is 51 lpa by Microsoft(off-campus) 4. the official average package id 5.2 lpa 5.my palns after getting the degree to crack a big MNC.

1.Siliguri Institute of Technology ,it's a private engineeribng college so as many of private colleges SIT also charges a certain amount of fees bases per semester.I am currently in 2nd year of IT department.The total course fee is about 6.38 lakhs.the fee chart is given by the college and ther college collected it before semester exam.It contains the tuition fees, admission fees,develoment fees,lab fees and other compulsary charges. 2.Before every semester exam a fees of 1200 will be taken as exam fees. 3.A scholarship named svmcm(for only WB board student) provide by WB goverment where a b.tech student received 60000 per annum for 4 year. 4.SIT has few number of reserved seats in tfw cota of west bengal board student.In this category for some meritorius but poor income level student get chance through wbjee and get a chance of study b.tech with a minimum amount of tuition fees per semester(the amount is appron 1200 per semester)

1. There occured sitara, sit tech frenzy, in a year 2. SIT has a average student friendly librart contains two readinf rooms .A massive number of books ,journals and so on. 3.there are digital classroom for each department and practical lab for science subjects. 4. it has not a big oppurtunity in sports .It has a small busketball court ,small badminton court, football,cricket playground. 5. Many social groups like SIT photograpy club, SIT confession etc.

1. I have applied one and only enginnering college named sit and other some general colleges like A.C College jalpaigri,Sukanta Mahavidyalaya dhupguri, but later through counselling of wbjee I get chance in SIT so I came here. 2.yes in the first round of counselling I get rejection from A.C College Jalpaiguri in mathematics (cause I can not clear the cuttoff ) 3.The admission process through WBJEE and here after the counselling which a thre round process, and except this diploma holder student get admission JELET examin 2nd year direct.

For our course the faculty -to- student ratio is 1:2 it is for it deparment for cse it is 1:15. the faculties are most of them very educated some of them have doctorate degree. In each semester we have alloted a mentor who is also our teacher .He/She help us through the whole semester how to overcome the problem in on - campus we faced.
