The colleges in the quiet surroundings it is away from the city
The faculty here in SIT has knowledge about the industry and can help you grow
The career opportunities and the placements provided by the techno India group is also the reason to choose this college over the others

Dislikes

Since it is away from the city students might have trouble in travelling the distance
The MCA is has a separate department that is located in the fourth floor
The college gymnasium equipments are not up to the standards

Course Curriculum Overview

The MCA course allows you to get a deeper understanding about the computers and also it involves programming so this is basically a computer science and engineering course for those who want the deeper understanding about CSE

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time of admission 110,000 Fees due at November and April 80,000 respectively. If you have a Jeca rank of less than 2000 then after councelling your total fees will be 200,000. You can apply for Swami Vivekananda scholarship and get up to 60,000 rupees of the base course that is 350,000.

Campus Life

The campus is located outside of the city so it is quite peaceful here and the infrastructure of the college is also quite nice and everything is available and there are food courts and canteen where you can have lunch and also the surrounding area of the college the parks are also quite peaceful there is parking area gymnasium a basketball court

Admission

I've made a mistake of not appearing on the c u e t exam and instead I have opted for giving the JECa exam so that is why I couldn't have applied for all the open universities and instead had to choose the university that is under west bengal government

Faculty

The student ratio here is 0.8 : 1 . The faculty here is very approachable if you have any difficulties they will definitely assist you. There will be force exams that are for internal assessment and final semester exam. The internal assessment exams are quite easy and usually involves lab work and project writing but the final semester exams are quite difficult

I got TFW quota in this college from WBJEE Counselling, so for this the total fees for me is 1/8th of the fees paid by other, who take admission through Direct or with WBJEE Counselling itself. My Honest Opinion of SIT

Admission proces is very smooth as long as you have all the documents, it can be done within 1 day. I have no reservation (General Catagory) As I mentioned the the exams earlier as well. I will continue here. The exam timing for even semester is very poor. The time we get for the completion of the syllabus is very less which makes a rush to just complete it. The question paper setting is very poor as well. In 1st semester, the Basic Electrical Engineering subject, the paper setting was very poor. 70-80% questions came from a single chapter instead of proper allocation from othe units....Read More
