DDUC A MYTH

The course curriculum is now improved very much in NEP. It is relevant to industry needs. The improvement we needed in the curriculum is already done in NEP. We were the last batch without NEP. One mid-term exam and end sem exam were compulsory and these exams are easy to moderate level.

Detailed fee structure is available on website for each year. All Nsp scholarships are available for meritorious students. The college also provides a scholarship of Rs 10000 ('college scholarship') and a "fee concession" of Rs 7500 to the meritorious students having an attendance of more than 80% in the previous semester/year and Last semester marks should be greater than 70 % For fee concession there is one more criterion of income less than 5 lakh per annum.

Our annual cultural fest is "Kalrav" held in March/April and the annual technical fest is "Tech Marathon" held in February/March organized by our departmental society Sanginka. There are many clubs and societies for each of the activities.

I chose this college on the basis of NIRF ranking which was my mistake. We should not choose college on the basis of NIRF. One should choose a college on the basis of past placement records if your main aim is to crack placement from this course. I didn't have that knowledge and I was admission here. I was getting admission in SSCBS whose placements are far better than DDUC. However, the proper placement stats were not available. So I choose DDUC over SSCBS by just looking at NIRF. Admission is through the CUET UG exam. You must have passed the 12th or equivalent exam.

Faculty are of good nature. They helped students in all ways. Every 15-20 students group is assigned a mentor to discuss his problems related to academic or personal. One to one guidance is provided. I was in computer science department. All the teachers of our department were very knowledgeable,helpful and friendly as well My favourite faculty are :- Dr Sanjeet Kumar Dr Rajni Bala Dr Shewta Wadhera Prof Rampal Course curriculum was good. Some subjects we thought are not useful in bachelor's but they help a lot in future. One mid sem exam was mandatory for all subjects. After that any other exam is choice of particular teacher. Exams are not difficult to clear.
