Course Curriculum Overview
We are ill prepares by the curriculum for real world application. We should focus on practical application more than theories. There is one exam per semester and there is 6 semester in total. Exams are not too hard or too easy.
Fees and Financial Aid
There was two semester in one year and per semester fee it was around 2500 so total 5000 per anum. Tution fees,caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees and lab fees are included in semester fees. My batchmates fees are same as mine. Students gets SVMCM scholarship every year and the amounts of the scholarship is 18000.
Campus Life
Festivals- Teachers day, freshers, farewell, annual sports festival etc. There are many books in library and easy to access. There are different labs for each year students. Students play football, cricket and volleyball, but the problem is the playground is short
Admission
I applied at Jadavpur University, and the colleges under Calcutta University. I heard that the study pressure is less here and the university is well structured. Yes I get rejection from Jadavpur University because of my low marks. To get admitted in this university, first we have to get admission through online and then physical verification.
Faculty
The ratio of teachers and students is 1:4. Faculty is less approachable but not all teachers. I like J.K. Saha, Maidul Islam and Mehedi Kalam sir from faculty because they care about students try to teach each and every students and they also make us laugh sometimes. I don't like other faculty members because they are ill approachable to students. There is only one exam per semester and 6 exam in the whole course . The exams are moderate , neither easy nor hard . 20% students fail to clear exams.
