Likes

Free atmosphere, as an government college the restrictions are very less, unless you are in first year.
Pretty good hostel facility as they respond pretty quick for complaint.
Great faculty and professional lecturers

Dislikes

Food is pretty bad unless you are already accustomed to Kerala food.
Subjects are pretty challenging as you further in courses.
Weather is quite unpredictable as it may rain anytime

Course Curriculum Overview

There is a degree of relevance as you get to more deeper topics but the initial teaching are pretty outdated and are most likely not used in current job environment. There are only two exams- mid and end semester ones.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Around 1 lakh has been paid yearly but this amount is compensated depending on reservation or financial state. There are many schemes from the government and many more loan schemes to opt for, the only fee which cannot be reimbursed is the mess fee.

Campus Life

There are two main fests - Tathva and Ragam. Ragam is more relaxed and sort of like a celebration with different celebrities performing. Tathva is the technical event for showcasing awesome startups and great ideas

Admission

The eligibility is based on percentile in jee as I have not been accepted to an IIT I have chosen the next best here. But that doesn't mean it is second to IIT in anyway there are many students who are as good as IIT students.

Faculty

Professors are pretty eligible and highly skilled in real life application topics so they can speak from experience and help you. There are also general courses which do not pertain to your course and are taken by all courses.

The placements start from sem6. Companies like google, amazon, microsoft, infosis, tcs, cisco,etc. The highest package of last year was 60lpa and the average package is 8lpa. The percentage of students who got job is above 88. My plan is to get a job in campus selections.

Placement Experience:

My college has established a strong reputation for its campus placement performance and I can't know more about the placement details because I'm a first year student but the students become eligible to part5in the campus placement from the starting of seventh semester . I have heard that a lot of companies like around 50 visits our college to select our students . Many noticable companies like Infosys , Microsoft , Target , Amazon etc visits our college and recruit our talents . Our highest package till date is 17 lakhs per annum and an average package is 4 lakhs per anum . Around 90% of students get placed every year . And after college I would like to continue my studies and also would workhard to get placed in a company and prepare for competitive exams and more .

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements here. About 30 to 40 companies if im guessing right. By the 7th sem they tell you to prepare for placements. The average packages vary from 15000 to 25000. About only 25 to 40 percent of students got placed in the college. My plans are still learning some more courses.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Syllabus was well structured and job oriented. Today is the era of Artifical intelligence and based on that the syllabus is maintained. We have machine learning ,data mining , and big data analysis . There are frequent exams after the completion of two modules so that we can study properly. I think it should be good if they improve parctical sessions

Good the questions are well organised and quality of questions were good

Placement Experience:

From 3 rd year onwards students are getting internship and placements Top companies like oracle and many like top companies visit the college Last year highest pacakage was 33lpa average around 7-8lpa Almost 80-90 get placed in cs department that what i know not sure about it I prefer to take msc outside india or go with a good placemebt still deciding

I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
