I like the festive season of university the most
Infrastructure is definitely attractive u can fall in love with it
Plus point u get to meet people around the country coz people come frm every corner of the country

Dislikes

I don't like the lazy behavior frm the administration department of university
If any student get back or need to get revaluation of his/her answer sheets its a dead long slow and long procedures
Continous leave from the faculty side i have noticed and also test and assignments are conduct in the last time of the semester

Campus Life

In my college not too many clubs and societies were there there were only four societies of dance music drama and one was eco club Student of dance ans music societies got the most exposure of performing outside the cllg and also on bigger platforms

Admission

I was from the covid batch so the admission process was online only no offline form submission form was there and also till my batch no cuet used to get conduct for undergraduation. I got admission in the third cut off from the merit procedure and my overall Percentage was 80%

Faculty

Faculty of delhi university is definitely very highly educated all the senior professors have phd in their subject and assistant professors are in process of having their phd done. Music faculty of shyama Prasad Mukherjee college is really nice Daily classes do get conduct so the interaction of student with teachers is very easy but some of them are very frequenct with their leaves and in the end they do hurry up in completing their syllabus also i m from a covid batch so we got quite late admission, to completed our graduation in perfect timmings they reduced the timming of our each semester

university of delhi have have started compulsory of courses such as VAC ,SEC and many other skill enhancement courses so that you not only rely upon your degree but you enhance your Interpersonal Skills , Communication Skills ,Speaking Skills as in future all jobs and placements are skill based not degree based so for enhanceing and developing a good personality these courses played a major role. The timings of examination were between 2,30-5,30 Pm 3 hours exam water facility was provided during the exam tenure. If in case you forgot to attend or submit your either of IA/CA you may get an essential repeat er even iof you pass in the written exam .

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

The faculty im the department of history is updated and well versed in the field of history and have adopted student friendly teaching methods which make me suggest this subject in JMC to the students who likes to pursue higher studies in history. The exams are conducted at the end of every semester with moderate difficulty level .

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college.
