Exploring Ramanujan College: an overview

BA (H) Applied Psychology is a fascinating course that provides a student an opportunity to progress his/her overall learning experience. As it provides both theoretical and practical knowledge. Exams are conducted every semester with enough difficulty levels. They are always subjective in Nature. Along with it during the semester internal assessments are also taken into regard including tests, assignments, and presentations.

Total fee for the course is 67500 INR. Fee is submitted in three deposits, i.e., 22500 per year. Students are given the opportunity to submit fee in both online and offline mode. Students can. In the final year every student's total fee is analysed by various departments of the college like library, administration, and sports department to make sure that eacg student has completely submitted their fee. This is done just before the final semester examination.

The college organises various events majorly, annual fest, Diwali mela, annual sports day, and many more. These are organised with the efforts of societies in the college. Library have a good collection of books. Books for all the courses are available in the library specially the standard books. Societies and social grouping are also encouraged in the college.

Earlier DU followed a merit based admission but now it is done through cuet examination. For that students are supposed to fill an allocation form for du released in February -march every year then another form for cuet. Cuet is conducted in may- june every year. The admission process is a little bit longer as result of cuet gets released after 2-3 months of examination, which makes it a longer process.

Faculty members in the psychology department are quite less responsible and sometimes behaves so unprofessionally with students. Although there are are several teachers who are cooperative and interactive with students. Teachers teaches with the use of technology along with traditional methods. This allows students to solve their doubts instantly without any barriers. Many teachers are easily approachable. Students can easily approach them to resolve their problems
