Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course i am studying us statistics i opted it coz i wanted to study it and found it fascinating. Statistics is a very helpful things in real world also and our professors teach us pretty well but for the lectured of probability i wish our professor could make them more engaging rather than just writing down notes and expecting us to know everything. Calculus is the vest part for me its fun and tough and Challenging makes it cooler. The duration of the lectured is usually 1 hr but can be 2 hrs sometimes. And of course the profs. Take class tests for performance reviews regularly

Internships Opportunities

4

Recently my roomate got a internships from oyo the wedding branch with a stipend of 10k per month shes in her 2nd year of college shes studying B com (hons) , the environment she says is great and overallt shes enjoying her time.

Placement Experience

3

Internships starts from year 2 in college. The avgerage package is from 3lpa to 4 lpa the highest reacher 12 lpa. Well after my degree am surely going for my master giving more competitives so havent thought much about placement

Fees and Financial Aid

When you opt for admission here you have to apply through csas portal of delhu university for which the fee is 100 rs for sc (i paid 100 rs) after that when you are allocated thr seat you confirm it wait for thr acceptance email from the principal and once you get that you pay the fees to mark the seat yours which is the yearly course fee. 27000 for bsc (hons) stats in my case and thats all u have to pay the whole year. There are a lot of government scholarships available for students for finacial aid which you can apply too but i doubt there are any direct scholarships by the college. The course fee reamins the same throughout the duration of the course which for the year 2025 onwards is 26920 rs for bsc statistics, the relaxation in fees is only provided to students under pwBD quota where the fees gets decuted too 180 rs for almost all courses except B. Voc. Courses. The following fees includes college and tution fees. Examination fee is to be paud separately.

Campus Life

4

The infrastructure of the college is overall pretty cool, hence it does feel like a good college. The students are actually pretty friendly and the seniors are super nice they keep arranging treasure hunts and games for the students to keep syme fun going on in their lives. Clubs there are clubs for every activity chess arts dance sports everything and even ngos and ones that make a social impact.

Admission

To be honest thus college was the last option, the college i really wanted to go to was pretty far from home and my parents had objections they didnt want me going so far from home when i was jus stepping out in the world so i had to ignore my acceptance letter from them and accept ramanujan

Faculty

3

The faculty stydent relationships in iur college us pretty chill the professors are all very friendly and chill really all you have to do is reach out and they would love to help same with the seniors.

Interview Experience

5

No i didnt face any interviees for admission in the college but of course there are interviews to be part of the clubs and its nothing extreme its pretty chill just be honest and confident and you are good to go

Night Life

4

The cafeterias are busy 24/7 and so is the library the campus is usually open from 8 to 6 the famous hangout places well its delhi dear so there is a lot to explore dont worry you wont run iut of places to go to even if you are broke then you'll just have to get creative

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is too good. As my course is life sciences so instead of learning about only one core subject like in botany hons and zoology hons course, we get chance to learn about zoology, botany and chemistry simultaneously. That Also unlock a large no. of opportunities for my future. Acc to me the ratio of practical lab and theory classes should be increased like we only get 1 lab for one core subjects in a week so I think this no. Should be increased so that we can get more practical knowledge. The difficulty level of exams are too much High like it seems we're hons course students that should be decreased.

Campus placements are for commerce background mostly, usually in 3rd year you might see some placements. I don't know exactly about thr company who visited because I wasn't enrolled in that particular course. Campus placements percentage is very low to be honest . 10-20% mostly. I'll pursue masters.
