Entrance Preview

The exam which I gave was WBJEE(M), that's stand for WBJEE. The rank I secure was 71. Through counselling I opt the oldest college in Asia,formerly known as Medical College Bengal. I have some good memories along with some bitter memories. Studying all throughout the day during exams to masti throughout the day during Rhapsody.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course which I have opted for, saves lives. Lives of young,old,rich,poor,educated,uneducated. It cannot be described in words. Whichever subject you strive has something to give to the humanity to the mankind.

Internships Opportunities

Yes they do provide stipend. Stipend of just Rs 18000. Though it is not enough, but we manage to have some good time with this without giving worries to our parents.

Campus Life

Gender ration was like 2 boys for each girl. It has diversity with all religion coming under one roof. Students belonging to all sort of economic status,race,ethnicity with less interested people in politics.

Exam Structure

Exams were very hectic. All day study without sleep. A total of 7 papers would mean that 15 days of hectic schedule. Then practicals was even more hectic as it was here when we have to confront teachers and professors and to prepare hard for this.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.
