Course Curriculum Overview

4

Mbbs is a hectic course and not for the weak hearted. It takes discipline and dedication which our college has taight us by taking several exams and practice sessions. There is no thing as studied everything or studied nothing here.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Intership starts after finishing the final year. It is a great opportunity as our seniors describe it. The stipend paid is full amount. As there is good patient outflow the seniors learn a lot everyday.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college has a huge infrastructure. Overall the hostels are good and spacious. There is a decent patient outflow as well. Our labs are well managed by the staff and we had helpful faculty for our batch. The mess food on the other hand needs improvement. But besides that it is a good college, we have our cancer hospital building up. Our ac classrooms are huge and can fit over 300 people, we learn through screens and books which we may issue from our library or buy. Attendance is necessary and very important. We maintain decency and discipline along with extracurricular activities.

Campus Life

4

Campus is huge, we take a lot of walks in the morning or evening but at night we are back in hostels by max 10:20pm. There is a good amount of rules to be followed. We have a football ground for the sports lovers and we have various other celebrations like; Saraswati pujo etc. We even have a nursing and engineering college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel is good. We have a lift. We have to sign befire and after leaving for home or going out for an outing. They are struct but it is for our own safety. We have a lift as well fir carrying suitcases.

Admission

We chose several colleges in the counselling process and i was assigned to Sanaka, it was a surprise but not a bad one. No idea about other colleges but i sure do like mine so far. Really interesting to study the course here.

Faculty

3

Faculty is good and helpful but struct as well. We have 3 exams before pre proff and proff. It helps us practice before the big exam. We have revision classes and doubt clearing sessions as well. We can go up to the teachers and clear any other personal doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
