Course Curriculum Overview
The course entails every possible aspect of life sciences starting from molecular biology to bioanalytical techniques. Albeit, the theoretical aspect takes a front seat. One would expect to learn lab techniques but due to the limited time and high number of students hands on training isn't always possible. One would learn modern relevant topics like bioinformatics at least on a surface level.overall good structure but only if you are interested in a PhD and not an industrial job.
Fees and Financial Aid
2 years of the course had costed us 4000INR approx . Extremely affordable and also underprivileged students can apply for a fee-waiver and they will be reimbursed. No other charges or donations than the base fees.

JU provides you with an extremely pleasant and warm environment where you could hit up a conversation with anyone about anything shile you chill at worldview or you could hang out around the playground during a hot summer evening . An extremely up to date Central Library will cover all your academic needs . There are 7 canteens around the camous so your lunch and tea breaks are sorted. There are multiple clubs like mountaineering , dance, singing, book clubs and poetry clubs. We have a basketball court which is never left empty and the department also conducts yearly picnics

Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good . we had 7 highly-educated faculty members who have their own labs and scholars working under them. Department had taken a special mentir-mentee program approach although it never culminated into anything , all whistles and horns. Interactive lectures and extremely helpful professors, seniors and scholars. Quality teaching althought placements are bleak .
