The annual fees for the entire session amount to 2160 Rupees, which is paid at the time of admission. This fee covers all expenses, including tuition fees, caution deposit, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, and lab fees. There are fee waiver facilities available for financially disadvantaged students, with options for either a full or partial waiver of tuition fees. Various state and central government scholarships, as well as private scholarships, are available. Some state government scholarships include SVMCM, Aikyashree for minority students, K3 for female students, and Oasis for OBC students. Good part is a good university with very low fee per sem but no compromise with academics.per sem fee is 150 INR.Top class professors with years of experience, excellent teaching skills.the labs are well instrumented

They don't take practical exam but they took viva for practical.
For 2nd semester there has no practical paper.

For admission in m.sc in life science and biotechnology, i paid 2160 as admission fee and then i paid 150 for 2 times as exam fee. There's no other amount to pay. And same for 2md year also. It's applicable for all castes! And if you have a good score in graduation you'll get swami vivekananda scholarship which gives you 30000 per annum and the university also gave a scholarship for economically weaker section!

2 years of the course had costed us 4000INR approx . Extremely affordable and also underprivileged students can apply for a fee-waiver and they will be reimbursed. No other charges or donations than the base fees.

MSc in Biotechnology from Jadavpur University

In our time we had to pay only 4.5K (approx) in 2 years. In our time there was no fee hike policy. One can get any kind of scholarship like Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Student Scholarships etc. Students can get internship offers from reputated pharma companies like Dr. reddy's as well as our professors helping us to manage internships and final year projects.
