Likes

Very large size playground . Intercollege tournament is there. Female tournament are also done . Football, cricket are played
A large pond is there , looks like a beauty spot in between my college. Fishes and ducks are there in the pond .
2 badminton court is present, lighting is maintained properly , we can play whole night if we want .

Dislikes

The pond is always closed , we cant do boating in the pond.
Dog stool is present every where in roads in some days .
Only one mri and one ct scan and one pet ct scan unit is present

Course Curriculum Overview

There is family adaptation programme present , in this programme we visit the rural areas near and far away from our college and identify if what problem they were facing , what solution can be possible and give them advice .

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Admission fees is 6600 in which 4500 is first semister is included . Total 9 semister in 5.5 year of course . Hostel fees 12 rupees per month . 3 semister in first year . No other fees . Svmcm, oasis, and many scholership is present.

Campus Life

Campus life is good , big campus , many stores are present , play ground present, our college arranges fest in every year , vishal sekhar , shreya ghoshal , pharan akhtar has come to our college ik fests.

Hostel Facilities

4 person per room , room is large, bed, table is provided bathroom are common. 4 fans in one room . 4 lights in one room . Cleanliness is maintained . 2 mess are present in hostel . Fees is 12 rupees per month

Hostel Fee: INR 144 per year

Admission

Pass class 10th and 12th with 45 % marks , with PCB subject in class 12th. Crack NEET exam , it is a all india based competitive exam . Then undergo councelling . Either state counselling if you are from west bengal state or all india counselling .

Faculty

There are more than 40 faculty members are present in each department . And all the members are well qualified . Some time guest lecturer also came from another college to teach us . And interchanging of faculty members between college are also present. Many faculty members are very good in teaching and some are also concerned about students other than learning. But some faculty and very bad in teaching , they just come read the slides and gone .

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.
