Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I am from the commerce stream and I love to learn subjects like accountancy, business studies, and economics. The area of improvement should be in the teaching of accountancy, I prefer to use software for doing accounting instead of doing it on paper because in the future when we go to the MNCs to work so we will have to do accounting on software like tally and excel and not on paper sheets. We have semester-wise exams and we have 3 core subjects and thier difficulty level is moderate according to the college level.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the tution fees increase year to year but it doesn't show a sudden hike. The yearly fee for this course would be between 12000 to 15000 and the examination is separate from this. You can complete BCom Hons from Zakir Hussain Delhi College Delhi University for under 2 lakh rupees including tution fees, service fees, and other compulsary charges. Scholarships and financial aid are available for SC/ST students and Kashmiri migrants also. There is campus employment in our college so do not expect anything.
Campus Life
The annual and technical festivals that are typically held are fresher parties, annual functions, farewells, cultural fests of many societies, fests from the side of the college election parties, and the common college fest named ADAAB. These fests are typically held every year.
Admission
Eligibility of this course is you should have accountancy, business studies, economics, and maths in your 11th and 12th classes. You can find the application form on the cuet website the application fees will be from 2000 to 5000.
Faculty
The teachers are very good. The methods of teaching and mentorship of some teachers are very creative. The business law teacher doesn't make us bored with the theoretical subject. We can contact them any time as per our need they all are available for us to help.
