In our college All faculty members are very careful and helpful.
Our college location plays vital role for students.
seniors are very helpful. They help us in curriculum activities.

Dislikes

As it is a government college it does not provide us good placement or internship opportunity.
our college is not so moderate. So our lab facility is not so good.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I am from science background and I love mathematics I choose this desicion.Our curriculam helps us to prepare us and also helps in higher studies. If our course shall fully focus on practical study I think it is well for us. Exam difficulty is easy to moderate. But the timing of exam is not so good in even sem we get only 3-4 months to cover full syllabus which is difficult for us.

Internships Opportunities

Good Internship is not provided by our college. some unknown companies come to our college without any stipened or some amount. As I am not doing any internship so I have no clear idea about internship.

Placement Experience

As our college is tier 3 college It does not provide very good placement. After 3rd year anyone is eligible for placement. calcutta based companies come and provides average of 100000/annum. 30-40% students are placed. After getting degree I want to give gate exam to do mtech.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I am in information technology branch,my fee structure is 2000/month. In computer science fee structure is 1000/month.Excluding that we have to pay 1200/- per sem for exam fees. Here differents schlorships are available. TFW quota is also applicable.

Campus Life

In our college campus life of all students are full of enjoy and tention. Here tech fest is held on every year. Annual fest is also organised by our seniors and union. In libary you get various types of books. Our classrooms are not so moderate. Sports festivals are also held in college campus where cricket, football, kabbaddi are organised. In our college differents clubs are present like coding club, debate club etc.

Admission

If anyone wants to study in this course he shall pass higher secondary with pcm combination with min 60% marks. Then He Shall give WBJEE exam. If he get good rank he can join. In december month online application starts. In april month exam is conducted. exam level is not so tough. To get admission in my college a good rank is needed.

In our college Our faculty is very helpful and friendly manner. They help us in any problems and they solve our problems without irritating. They focus in practical study mainly. As Iam in second year If I have any problem I can also message them.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Electronics and Communication Engineering is a branch which can be switches for both it and hardware companies. Class rooms are smaller which is not good. The exams are easy having enough time to study everything.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The prosperous and happenning university - West Bengal University of animal and fisheries Sciences

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

My dream college.

At first, I complete my 12th exam in science. Then I attended the WBJEE exam. After I good score on the WBJEE exam then I go to the counseling process. My college had 3 streams CSE, IT, and Leather Technology. I prefer to join Leather Technology. My college Application fees are 5000. My college's applications date provide College portal website. In This College We All are GCLETIAN

I heard about that college that many students of this college cracked the GATE exam in the running year and the college is very famous as it is established in 1919 and complete it's 100 years of glory.
