Remarks

College has basic facilities but has to improve on more infrastructure and facilities to students. Also teaching should be improved with compulsory attendance.

Entrance Preview

JEE MAIN 2015. As advised by my friends and seniors. No interview conducted. My interest in civil engineering and its further scope.

Course Curriculum Overview

Best course for me. Much focus is given on Practical than theory. College does help students in undertaking research program and coordinating the same. Electives are Biology, Environmental Engineering, Disaster Management and courses of other branches.

Internships Opportunities

Yes college does provide internship. It helped to gain on field knowledge and experience challenges and finding solutions. Stipend amount of about Rs. 4000 may be provided.

Placement Experience

Placements are good. About 80% are placed from those who registered. Major companies like Siemens, L&T, TCS, Crompton, Bajaj, etc. Average package of 3.5 lacs

College Events

Technical - WINGS Cultural - ELEGANCE & SPORTS WEEK. Much bigger with about 3000 students showed interest. All showed their abilities and talent in their respective fields. All was organized by the students on their own. College authorities supported a lot in managing events.

Affordable as compared to private colleges but expensive compared to Government Colleges. OPEN category - 60000 OBC/NT category - 27000 SC/ST category - 200

No. No I don't avail any scholarship. No college doesn't help.

Many sports and games are available to play. There are different clubs for students as per interests to enhance their talents.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, rooms are on sharing basis with 3 students in one room. Yes they have PGs. I pay Rs. 1650.00 per year. Hostel food is not compulsory but is of average quality.

Alumni/Alumna

Not much of interactions. College ha SAT team for that purpose with a few representatives selected to interact. Alumni does provide financial assistance to economically weaker students.

Theory and practical are properly arranged so no overburden of college.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semister students can sit for a placement. In our college or in our time we have limited companies.our college has invited 3 to 4 companies for placement. The highest package was- 7lakh/ annum. Avg package-3.5 lakh/annum, Percentage of students getting job -40% My plan for m.tech.

A Moderately good college

Remarks:

Positives of this college is mostly the fact that it is a functioning college. With labs and classrooms. The college has AC too. The DSC is also a big positive point. Negatives: the people, the redundant course, the initial 1.5 months of ragging.

Remarks:

College management is not as good as other colleges but there are very helpful to us. At first, I complete my 12th exam in science. Then I attended the WBJEE exam. After I good score on the WBJEE exam then I go to the counseling process. My college had 3 streams CSE, IT, and Leather Technology. I prefer to join Leather Technology. My college Application fees are 5000. My college's applications date provide College portal website. I heard about that college that many students of this college cracked the GATE exam in the running year and the college is very famous as it is established in 1919 and complete it's 100 years of glory.
