Studying mechanical engineering is neither a difficult nor an easy task. Syllabus of our course is not very big so it is not difficult. There are 2 semesters every year, there are a minimum of 4 subjects in each semester difficulty level is very high in our exam time.

We only give internship permission from our college. Internships you have to find yourself.We did internship at DVC in Durgapur. There we went to vocational training for 15 days.This power plant is very good. I will tell every student studying mechanical engineering to go to DVC for VT at least once.

From 7th semester students are become eligible for campus placement. In my department highest package was 10 lpa and the average package is 2 lpa. In our department all students are get placement but low salary job. So there is no point for this type job. After completing my btech degree I am studying mtech.

Tuition fee of our college is 3000 per semester and 6000 per year. And there are exam fee are 1200 per semester. Tuition fee and exam fee are fixed. Hostel fee are 12000 per semester. Hostel can get after 2nd year complete. So total hostel fee is 48000. So complete cost of my education is 81600. Our college are given all type of scholarship if you are eligible for the scholarship.

Campus Life is overall very good. Our college campus is small but clean and very attractive, there are so many good places where can you expand time. Our hostel Life is another reason that I loved campus Life. Our college build more building day by day. Near college there is some shops, shopkeepers are very good heart human, they are very nice people.

Hostel facility are good. But our hostel cook is very bad cook, He doesn't know what to cook anymore. There is a lot of oil in cooking. All his cooking is similar.The hostel rooms are very good, very big rooms. There are 3 people in each room. And it is entirely your choice who you will be with.You can change the room later, there is no problem.

This college get admission through wbjee examination. After get good rank in wbjee examination you get admission in this college. My rank was 13000 and I get mechanical engineering department in counseling round.

Faculty members are highly educated. Our hod sir, has done mtech and phd. And rest of sirs have done mtech. We have 60 students in our department and 10 techers, ratio is 6:1 .That's why studying is very good. If there is any difficulty, the teachers make it very easy.
