Entrance Preview

I got many opinions about Christ university while I'm studying in my 12th class. So I gave application form to 4 colleges including Christ university. I read about this college on the internet and I got many good reviews and opinions from my friends and relatives. And when I saw the college at the time of the interview, I liked it very much.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course plan is very vast. There is a lot to study when comparing to other colleges( that I heard). But well-experienced teachers and their friendly nature to students are one of the main positive sides. The practicals are held in highly equipped labs.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. The faculties of college and outside people used to take special internships related to the course every vacation periods. These internships will help the students to gain extra practical knowledge. Most of these internships will not provide stipends.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements and job opportunities are good in Christ University. Since it is one of the top degree college in India. Special recognition is always available to Christians. There are placements for every course. Christ University has a good tie up with most of the companies.

College Events

5

Christ University is a place of celebrations in a single word. Because every day there will fests or programmes will be there in college conducted by different department students. There will be a good opportunity to every student to showcase their talents and some of the events or programmes will be compulsory too which will make 100 percent participation of every student in at least one departmental fests.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is available for students who have good marks in semester exams. And many other scholarships to students who are conserved.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is fabulous. There will fests and many programmes all over the year. Highly equipped labs and good courts are marked in Christ University. Every programme conducted at the university have its own authenticity and value. Students can showcase their talents easily.

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels are very well equipped. The modern safety measures like biometry are followed over here. 24*7 there will be 2-3 guards service around the hostels giving proper and strict safety to students. Food and accommodation are very cheap in christ university hostels compared to outside PGs or Flats.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students and alumni are really helpful. Because there are even aluminum scholarships that can avail by studious and conserved students.

Exam Structure

In a semester 2 exams. One will be the mid-semester exam and the other one is the end semester exam. Each semester will have 3 CIA(Continous internal Assesment), in that 1 and 3 will be assignments, tests, or another kind of project works and the CIA 2 will be the midsem exam.

Admission

It was an interview process for the admission. First, they gave us a sheet of paper containing two descriptive questions. After that, they took us for the personal interview where interviewers asked about general knowledge and subject related questions.

Faculty

4.5

In the science department, most of the teachers are well experienced. Most of them have 20- 30 years of experience. But I feel like teachers over care about students and their marks. So they will give special classes to students who are not that good at studies.

Students become eligible from the 5th semester. The university also conducts placement drives and skill development workshops. Out of the various companies, some of the reputed ones include Goldman Sachs, KPMG, EY, Deloitte, De Shaw, etc. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs but 60% students opt out from placements for further education. I plan to study a master's degree in business economics after my undergraduate studies.
