The college is very innovative with lots of well trained professors and other staffs
Students have full control over all the activities in the college including the placement cell and union everything is under the control of the college and it us located at very prime location
This institutions has a very remarkable record of placement statistics the top placement this year was 54 LPA this one of the best institution in kerala

The area of the college is less compared to other colleges

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of electrical and electronics btech is good but it requires little more updation and more of subjects related to electronic cars and semiconductor devices as of now the curriculum is much relevant but can be improved if such changes are made

College provides good internship oppurtinies with the help of a placement cell. Almost all the year students get internships according to their skill and knowledge the institutions give good support to it

All ath avg student's who enter the clg always have a placement offer when they go out the placement statistics of the college is high compared to other colleges almost all the major companies like google, bosch ect visit the college this time the top placement was 54 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college had two type of fee structure which comes as 40000 per year and 70000 per year as per the rank of the students the entire allotment process is through merit and no other ways can be done. Our college has a very good placement statistics one of the top in the state

Campus Life

There are lot of clubs in the college but the campus life is not up to the mark compared to academics the college have a less area overall the campus life is littile down the infra provided is good but not so updated as it is govt institution.

Admission

The entire admission process is through keam exam and merit basis ath cut off for the college is very high there was no malpractice during the process everything was through the proper channel for Cs the cut off is 1000 rank for EC it is 5000-6000 for EEE it is around 10000 and for mech around 15000

Faculty

The faculties are very friendly and efficient they help student's but they are not so strict students have full freedom here faculties understand what we say and they stand with us most of the facilities are graduated with PhD and remaining with high degrees, they alle give equal importantance to studies and other activities

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP. My plans is to get a good job and lead a stable life.

Placement Experience:

Students in 7th and 8th semester are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Oracle, Goldman Sachs, L&T, Bajaj, Caterpillar and PSU's like BEL,HPCL and BPCL come to the college usually the coding companies offer aroung 35-40 LPA CTC and the core PSU companies offer around 17-18 LPA. Highest Package is 51 LPA and an Average Package of 12 LPA. Nearly 85% students from Circuit and CS branch get placed and around 60% in core branches who sit for placements, My plans after getting the degree is to join MBA to learn how business world works and how the money flows

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for attending campus placement from semester 7. Some companies that visits ICET are Utc global, Layland, DeltaX, etc. The average package given by the companies are 3 lpa. The percentage of students getting placed are around 40%. I plan to placed at any company.

I applied to cet, tkm, gec for branches eee and ec My first option was cet for which i couldn't get admission due to my rank. Cet requires rank below 1000. And my second option was mec (my college). MEC Thrikkakkara: Strong Academics and Placements, but Room for Infrastructure Growth

My cousin studied here few years back and is now working a top tech company.I applied for Cs in MSRIT and AMRITA,but the fee structure over there is too high(around 3-4 lakh per year).Here overall fee amount is equivalent the yearly fee.To get admission in MEC,a person needs to write keam exam .Three phases of allotment are held in here.At the beginning of all allotment,we could change our preferences.For CSE BATCH,CUTOFF RANK FOR merit is around 2k and Management around 3.5k .For CSBS it's around 3k for Merit and 7-8k for management....Read More

Good for social life but very minimal infrastructure and facilities

The reason I chose this college over other options were due to the prime location in which it is present and due to the city it is present in . MEC is renowned for the placement opportunities available in this college and is placed in the top 3 colleges in Kerala in terms of placemenets . The admission is based on the student's KEAM rank and this rank decides whether you get the Merit seat or management seat . For others you also have an NRI seat .
