Likes

The rules and regulations really helped me to be more punctual and determined.
Knowledgeable practical faculties and facilities provided to students
Faculties and their eagerness to teach all the students.

Dislikes

Sometime 75% attendence feels like unnecessary.
College is in the urban area. Transportation is only through train.
College rooms should have Air Conditioning in this tempting hot.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is upto the mark and enough to get good marks in the semester exams.Professors provide all of these curriculum and syllabus with beautiful teaching methods.They teach in a simple way.So understanding is not a concern.

Class Size: 74Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

Campus placements and more than decent in this college.Throughout the years placements are more than 100%.Due to pandemic last year the graph was a bit inclined.But this year onwards the placements are started as quite good.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a West Bengal student students can apply for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship who's family income is not more than 250000 yearly.Moreover placements are over 100% throughout the years.But the core streams need improvement

Campus Life

Campus life is good as well.There is a student engagement programme called 'Arcadia' which happens once in a year.Otherwise tech fests,quizs are organised in a span of 1 or 2 months.This really helps to get rid of boredom.

Admission

I got rank of 12079 in my WBJEE Exam and got CSE in 2nd round in the counselling. You can take admission in this college with your JEE-MAIN rank as well. And there are few seats for direct admission too

Faculty

Each of the faculties are having more or equal to Masters degree. There teaching levels are so good that you don't need to have tuition teachers. Moreover if anyone have any doubt he/she can contact the faculties any time without any hesitation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and useful for us.They teach data structures algorithm that is very important for college placements and they also teach os, networks and other usefull things that is very important in computer science.They provide very high quality labs and the whole college has a good internet connection.Tecahers are very educated and good they helps us and teaching in very good way .The exams time schedule is also very good if there is any problem the college will change the exam date that is really a good thing.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

1)I applied to TMSL and heritage insitute of technology but i choose AOT over them because in tmsl there are no hostels and in heritage i got ece. 2)Admission to our college is through wbjee, jee mains,JELET (for lateral). no need to worry about admission process you just need all require documents and proofs to get admission. 3)From heritage i got rejection because i don't get cse there.(my rank was 10k). 4)mostly students came here through wbjee in 2025 cutoff of cse this year was approx 30 to 35k....Read More

I got this this from WBJEE , i wrote this exam and I score rank under 12 k in which our college has cutoff of 20k. I applied for the councelling of WBJEE and got selected in first round .
