Course Curriculum Overview

1

There are many things which we did not learn as electronic and communication students we don't know any programming languages because are only never thought us that we have theoretical subjects numerical subjects but there are no languages which we can learn and is needed in this world he do not know any of the languages like python Java where are the computer science students and the other students are learning that we are paying the same fees as that but we don't have any programming languages that has he are learning it from the outside world in the holidays. University only focuses on the theoretical and numerical subjects but never try to make it practical there are lab where we make it practical but the only complain is that it is not understand they will properly but the only complain is it is not up to the mark what I thought as an electronic and communication engineer. I thought a lot of things going to be new in my life but there was nothing up to the mark

Internships Opportunities

0.5

University has internship opportunities in which year supposed to work in the projects but the thing is we need a good marks a good CGPA to get the internship in our university and the CGPA is about some 60% of the marks in all the semester. The projects are good that but most of the projects are very tough and we are still working on that. Show the students with backlogs are not allowed to do the internship in the college they have to do it from where out is not possible they are not supposed to do the internship if they did not get the college is not gone to help with that

Placement Experience

1

The placements are not good as I said there are some people who are getting placements but that is because they have learnt extra skills from outside world and there is no electronic and communication placements I am not sure about the other departments but our seniors have told us that the electronics and communication department is not getting any placements the CS people are getting placements but not up to the mark and they are getting because the CS people have studied the language is the programming language is what they have studied. Electronic and communication department is lacking programming languages because the faculty is not teaching us programming languages we are only in the hardwares and theoretical numerical subjects and hardwares to are not that good

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is literally very high I mean the first year is 190000 the second year course 190000 3rd and 4th year has 210000. And the vice versa is we don't have the placements there we are hearing from our seniors there is no placement happening in the campus specially for electronics and communication department there is hardly any placement for the electronic and communication department I mean we are paying so much of fees just for these things we are working hard there and we are hearing from our good seniors who are good in academics and everything they are not getting placed I think situation is same for the other departments also where I will say are getting very low placement I know the CS people are getting the placements because they know the programming languages. But I don't think there are Up to the Mark placements in the CS departments also

Campus Life

0.5

I have experience a lot of things in my University. The events the confidence I got after I went on the stage of my University and the things I learnt after joining the clubs of university because the students there are talented heart from different countries and States they have different style of studying and playing which I got to know after joining the clubs of the university. Sports are really good at University the basketball team of our university also really good. NCC and a lot more of sports we have a compulsory sports day. There are a lot of books available in the library the only thing is that we are not supposed to keep it for more than 30 days if we do then we have to pay fine like everyday 5 rupees once I have paid 200 rupees because I forgot to renew the book I thought I have renewed the book. There are smart TVS in the classrooms. Nothing more technology than that in the classroom

Admission

The eligibility of the course was only a good marks and entrance exams the entrance exam contains the MCQ and the personal interview. MCQ is mostly based on the general knowledge is and the personal interview is the personal interview they will ask you the spot question and you have to explain it in your way about yourself your family that's it. You can find the application form on the website of Christ University and you can fill the same on the website itself you will get the mail for the exams dates and if you pass the exams and the personal interview you will get the admission in the universities it was not that difficult for me the exams were pretty general questions and the personal interviews about myself and my hobbies and they ask me one question in the personal interview and I had to answer it. Admission process for easy not that difficult if we pass the exam they will send you the letter and we have to go and get admitted in the university.

Faculty

1.5

The degrees of the faculty members are very good the interactive also, there the only thing is there are some teachers who don't talk to the students in proper manner if the student is weak in studies they don't try to know that whats the problem the student is facing but I am not going to lie, there are very good teachers also which I have seen that they are very helpful and definitely they are the best teachers I have seen but there are also claws in the definitely they are the best teachers I have seen but there is also lost in the teaching faculty of the Christ University that there are some teachers who don't or cannot be called as the best I love the maths faculty my favourite teachers for from maths and the network analysis and there are many but there are some subjects which I did not understand because of the teachers and the Teachers for very rude and they did not help much. About the education qualification of faculties they are highly educated has maste PHD and many degree

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

The top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini IBM tech Mahindra mind tree. The average is 8lpa. The highest 54 LPA. Overall 80% of students get placed in the final year. My plan after degree is to get a good job.
