Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is relevant and detail ed. It is also aligned with industry expectation s. Overall 8/10. The practical oriented labs programming work and project based learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. Also the college should improve in few theory heavy subject feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand.

Placement Experience

5

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. However the training and pre placement started for student from the first year itself like aptitude training coding resume workshops. The top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini IBM tech Mahindra mind tree. The average is 8lpa. The highest 54 LPA. Overall 80% of students get placed in the final year. My plan after degree is to get a good job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly wise fees which I paid is 120000 I have joined this college through kcet. The fees which my batch mates have paid like management studies paid 500000 per year and comedk students has paid 350000.The fees is affordable for the kcet students those who score good rank.

Campus Life

5

My overall campus life experience is balance with support of parents. There is also a good amount of opportunities for academics clubs and extra curricular growth. There is an annual fest called chiguru where music dance competition show DJ night and concert is hosted. Many stars come and many different colleges have opportunity to participate in the event. There are 10000 + books across all engineering departments. Also there is a digital library and e journals. The classrooms are well acute with projectors and also have a Wi-Fi access across campus labs are with high performance pieces required licence software. There are sports facilities like table tennis chess badminton carrom cricket ground football ground volleyball court. There are multiples of organised by students coding club robotic club ad astra and gdg. Also cultural clubs like dance club music club photography club.

Admission

Other than this I have not apply to any college because I got an admission through kcet. As My ranking was good. It wasn't because of academic weakness just the margin for getting into this colleges is extremely narrow and a few 100 ranks can make a big difference. The return on investment influenced my decision strongly. The college has good faculty and infrastructure. The eligibility criteria is 10 + 2 in PUC minimum 45%. The students are eligible for admissions through kcet ,comedk and management.

Faculty

5

The student faculty ratio is approximately 20:1 where all the students get the opportunity to interact with the teachers and also there is a mentoring group each mentoring group consists of 14 members. the college is an autonomous college. The faculty is which I like the most are doctor shashidhar mathematics department the teacher explain very clearly and the teacher has very patient and the teacher is friendly. And I professor Harish electronic department the explanation is very clear in circuits give extra practice questions and support to students. The faculty which I did not like is the physics and mechanical department teacher they are fast paced teaching. Limited examples during complex topics the curriculum is of 4 years 8th semester each semester includes to internal exam each internal exam is 50 marks the average of both internal is calculated and it is killed on 225 mark and there is assignment for 10 marks and mini project for 10 month and fees of 5 marks and there is also semester end examination conducted for 100 mark then this is scaled down to 50 marks. So overall we 100 marks. The curse curriculum is aligned to industry. Subjects like programming machine learning.

Night Life

5

Also the campus at night becomes quieter. The surroundings of a comfortable and safe environment for student to unwind after classes. More student prefer hanging out at nearby cafe parks and common student areas. The gym timings is till 9:00 p.m. the cafeteria canteen closer around and indoor sports also 6:00 p.m. group study in hostel common rooms. This help me bring strong friendship improve my social confidence.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”
