Course Curriculum Overview

5

Overall the course curriculum i would like to rate 8/10.The course curriculum is aligned to industry expectations . There are good amount of classes for both theory and practicals. There is also a skill lab session every week to learn about industry projects. The areas of improvement needed is assign industry level projects every semester more activities to be conducted in classes.

Internships Opportunities

5

The college provides many internship opportunities through campus recruitment drive. As i have heard from seniors that they usually start internship from 5th semester and also encourage to students to start applying from 4th semester only. As of i heard from seniors tcs offers 8k to 12k per month stipend for web developement. Internship helps students gain insdustry experience and help develop skills and gives more placement chances.

Placement Experience

5

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees info is as listed below: Management Students:500000 CET students : 120000 COMED- K students - 350000 Then the ranking of cet students for general category is below 40000 and for sc/st students 120000.

Campus Life

5

My overall campus lfie is balanced and supportive and opportunities in clubs and events. The campus life is friendly and comfortable. The annual fest chiguru is held every year for two days and they are held in the month of November with a grand event organized by Cambridge Institute of technology. There are more then 50+ events in this where other college students also are eligible to participate. There are more than 10000+ books and resources available in the library including textbooks, reference books, magzines, journals. The classrooms are very good there are projectors in each classroom and wifi access in the campus. The college alos encourages sports there are every sports. There is a football ground, basketball court, cricket ground, volleyball court. There is also an indoor sports like caroom, chess, table tennis, and a badminton court also. Ghe college has multiple clubs run by students like coding club, robotics club, cyber security club and gdg club, Ad Astra club.

Admission

Before applying to Cambridge Institute of technology i considered top colleges like rv college, horizon, ramaiah and lpu (lovely professional university) and i got accepted in lpu but my parents did not let me move to another state to complete my BE. So my parents suggested me to join Cambridge Institute of technology. As my cet rank was also low and i want some budget friendly college for management admission so i joined Cambridge Institute of technology. The eligibility criteria is 10+2 minimum 45 % and cet, comedk in cet for cse for general the rank should below 30000 and for sc/st below 110000.For comedk all the students whose rank is below 120000.Overall admission experience was smooth fillrd application and submitted all the verified documents.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is approximately 20:1 . Which ensure that every student gets attention. The relationship between students and faculty is positive and professional. Faculties i liked the most : 1. Professor Harish(Electronics) The explanation is clear for circuits diagrams. 2.Dr shanti (Mathematics) The explanation is crystal clear and there will no doubts in class beacause of the explanation and also homework questions help a lot to understand each and every topic. Faculties i didn't like are mechanics teacher only because of understanding of problems in mechanics subject the explanation is quite good. The course is spread across 4 years and 8 semesters Exam system 2 internals per semester each internal is for 50 marks and average of both internals is calculated then scaled down to 25. Then semester end examination is for 100 marks and it is scaled down to 50 then the rest of 25 marks is assigned as 10 marks for assignment and 10 marks for project and 5 marks for quiz. Therefore total of 100 marks. Exam ranges from moderate to difficult. The course curriculum is reasonable and industry aligned.

Night Life

5

The campus is usually quiet at the night. The environment is good. Most students hang out in the lawn of cit. The college hour is 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and library timings is : 8:00 am to 7:00 pm gym and indoor sports closes at 9:00 pm. I have not attended in nightlife events except chiguru the dj event and concert which was extraordinary. The famous places inside the campus are anaporneshwari cafe and lassi shop amd specially levista cafe. The locality is safe to roam around night.

Placements of our college was an average because our college is located in rural area and companies were not ready to come to that rural place but our placement officer used to try very hard in order to help students and get placed in well company. During the last year i.e, 7th semester palcements used to come and depending on our eligibilty we attented the interviews. My plans after the degree completion was to do software courses and join in software company because i did electrical and eletronics engineering.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNSIT are decent and consistent, especially for CS-related branches. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts training programs including aptitude tests, coding practice, mock interviews, and soft skills sessions to prepare students. Many reputed companies such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, and some product-based companies visit the campus. The highest package in recent years has gone above 20 LPA (mostly for CS/IT related roles), while the average package ranges between 4–6 LPA depending on the branch.
