Course Curriculum Overview

4

The fields that we have been learining are relevant to the industry, along with the training and placement program that keep us updated to the industry standards and expectations. Few subjects are optional and can also be chosen on one's personal interest as well.

Internships Opportunities

4

Companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM have been actively selecting students for opportunites along with the other computer-based software companies. Many students have secured internships (paid) through the college placement department.

Placement Experience

4

Placements have done actively for our senior batch where more than 60% of the students among 300 total students have been placed full-time or paid internship in many different companies. The highest package secured is about 15 LPA along with an avg. of 4 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Management fees ranges between 5 lakhs to 7 lakhs per year. I have taken admission through COMED-K, where fees is about 2.6 lakhs along with a college fees of 30k per year. And lastly KCET and Scholarship fees is about 80k to 1.2 lakhs per year.

Campus Life

3

Overall experience is just fine. I have well worked along with my batchmates as well as with seniors. Clubs may need to be revived but are present and also show their existance by organizing activities once in a while. The infrastructure and labs are well built, organized and maintained by the faculty, having no issues.

Admission

The biggest reason for joining the college is for the travelling ease. The metro is less than a KM to reach from the college which makes travelling here very perfect. Considering travelling as a major factor I have joined this particular college.

Faculty

5

All the faculty members are PHD holders and well educated for the fields of their department. The college follows VTU exam curicular, hence there are 2 -3 Internal Assessments every semester along with a VTU assisted sem-end exam at the end. The subjects having credits of their own which matter in the final score of SGPA

Night Life

4

The college has residential layouts in the surroundings that make the nightlife feel safe and homelike. There are several places such as gym, restraunts along with PGs to facilitate students with best living plan. ISCKON Bengaluru, Orion, Rameshwaram Cafe are among the famous places to chill nearby.

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.
