- the college is very supportive and forces us to put ourselves out there, get out of our comfort zone and aim for the stars
- they start sending u to hackathons from first semester itself even if you are rookie, and team you up with your seniors so you can get your footing into the field
- they have extra training and industry talks to get us networking and meet folks to understand how the industry is, what it asks and demands for
Dislikes
- they make you wear uniform on 3 days of the week
- the wifi is very slow and has a speed limiter for non lab or college devices
- they make your notedown your notes physically and check if you have
Course Curriculum Overview
The course seems rather outdated and the lab and 1credit subjects should have been worth more credits and gone further in depth cause those are very valuable technical knowledge not being endowed on us the exams are like 3x CIEs and 1x SEE, they are spread accross the semester accordingly and evenly
Internships Opportunities
We get early placement offers along with internship oppurtunities at infosys and IGM and capegemini,, we have around 80% of our studnts with fully paid stipened internships and support to research oppurtunities with startups and IISC
Placement Experience
Strudents are elligible for placements if they are consistent with the training and placement programs and attend the placement aptitude tests every week, the companies that come include Infosys, IBM. our college Governer is the CEO of Infosys
Fees and Financial Aid
5lakhs management, cet is 2.9lakhs, breakage fees of 100 every semester, uniform and books are all provided by college, including assignment books, it is 50k for SNQ quota, it is gonna be increased by a lakh i guess in the next semester
Campus Life
We have SAMVIT our cultural fest and Arohan our Tech fest along with Advaya our hackathon, collabing with JVTM at ACU every year the library is well stocked and has reference materials with acess to the national international journal portals and research papers every dept has its own set of labs with their own dedicated GPUs with a smart classroom and projectors in every class we have PE period every week, along with trained Shruti maam as the PE director that pushes us to participate in athletics I myself am part of the coding clubs at college and head em after our seniors
Admission
I chose this campis for its environment and work culture and infrastructure, especially the lab Its location and convenience to easy metro access right near the college it is very affordable on the basis of merits
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio typically ranges around 1:15 and 1:20 according to VTU's prescription, the faculty members are very approachable and tend to every learning needs of the students, academically and personally they organize FDPs and industry talks and hackathons to keep us motivated Dr Satisha G and Manjula Maam of the maths department have been our parent like mentors and figures in the college
Interview Experience
yeah we faced them in our training and placement programs for 40hours every semester, we need to be fluent in english or show the vigor to want to grow and be succesfull in life and be outgoing to work hard
Night Life
nightlife is about bonding and safe hangouts in our colleges massive campus. with academic focused after college study groups and sports, we have cameras every in a range of 3kms around our campus for added security by our principal personally to ensure safety
