Course Curriculum Overview

5

According to me I would give the overall ratings of 8/10. The curse curriculum is align with industry expectation. The college balances good between theory and practical labs the syllabus include both theory and multiple labs. There is also a lab sessions which gives a practical edge for the students to practice. Also there is a mini project assign for every students for building practical portfolios. This is a mandatory projects to help students build industrial aligned projects. The subjects like Max and chemistry ensure students acuped for higher studies for MTech. The college can improve in few theory heavy subject . Some fill outdated. The exams are generally moderate questions of an comes from important topics discussed in class.

Internships Opportunities

5

My college provides a variety of internship opportunities through campus recruitment drive. Student typically start getting internship exposure from the fifth semester on what the students are advised to apply for internship from the 4th semester itself. Some companies which I got to know from the seniors are TCS ion for web development inter they pair the type and around 8000 to 12000 per month.

Placement Experience

5

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. However the training for the students will be given from the first year. Like aptitude training coding and problems solving practice. Every year top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini IBM. The campus receives around 150 to 250 every year. The averageis 8 LPA. The highest is 54 LPA. After my degree I would pursue Mtech in abroad

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly wise fees I paid is 500000.I have enrolled through management as I have not scored. Agood rank in kcet. The fee structure other students like who enrolled from kcet paid 120000 and comed k students paid the fees of 350000.I have not aviled any scholarship.

Campus Life

5

My overall campus life experience is very balanced with the decent amount of opportunities for academics clubs and extra curricular growth. The campus is very active and student friendly. Every year there is an annual cultural fest chiguru were music and dance competition shows DJ night and concert is organized. And also technical first reach includes accounts coding contest robotics competitions project exhibition s. The library is one of the strongest academic spaces on campus. 10000 + books are available in the library. The classroom consists of projectors Wi-Fi access across campus. The sports facilities like table tennis chess badminton carrom and outdoor sports like cricket ground football ground volleyball court basketball court. And also student let clubs like coding club GDG robotics club dance club music club.

Admission

Before joining this college I have applied to multiple colleges. But the fee structure of a other colleges were high were not as expected. I had consider horizon where management fees was 30 lakhs per year and also considered Ramaiah where the fees was 50 lakhs per year. I had nots code welling case at exam so I had to join through management which costed me 5 lakhs per year at Cambridge.Lower tuition fees. The faculty is good. The eligibility criteria is 45% 10 + 2 and also should qualified through kcet and comedk or direct management quota. The cutoff is for CSE is 30000. The placement eligibility is from 7th semester however that training and pre placement start from 5th semester. Every year top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Capgemini IBM. The highest 54 lpa at botify. Overall 80 %of the Cambridge students are placed. In future I would like to pursue Mtech abroad.

Faculty

5

The student faculty ratio is approximately 20:1 where all the student get the opportunity to interact with the teachers and also there is a mentoring group each maintaining group consists of 14 members the college is an autonomous college. The teachers are very friendly and are willing to clarify doubt after class. The teachers also provide guidance for mini projects and external competitions. The faculty members which I like the most is Dr Ravi Shankar physics department the explanation is very clear in the concept of physics. And the teacher which I like the most is professor Raghu who teaches C programming. The teacher also which I like the most is professor Harish electronics department where sir explains the circuit very clearly and gives concept clarity. The subject which I don't understand the most is mechanics and chemistry where the concepts are not explained clearly. The course is for 4 years and 8 semesters. In each semester there is a two internal exam each internal issues 50 marks and the average of both internal is calculated and then it is scaled down to 25 marks . Then there is assignments for 10 marks and projects for 10 marks and a quiz of 5 marks. Then there is a semester and examination which is written for 100 marks and it is scaled down on 50 marks.

Night Life

5

The campus itself becomes quieter at night. The surroundings of a comfortable and safe and environment. More students prefer hanging out at nearby cafes parks and common student areas. Student relax and recharge in various ways by playing football volleyball basketball bike rides around the area. Group study in hostel common rooms watching movies gaming tournaments late night conversations on the hostel terrace.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
