Likes

Good Environment, , Cultural Activites, Seminars, Big Canteen with quality food, big ground, opportunities for various sports.
Great Faculty, Good Administration, Big and library with various sunjects books.
Nearby Metro Station, Lajpat and Nehru Nagar market is a plus.

Dislikes

Campus Building (But has renovated now), some kind of crowd (you can find people of your vibe though)
nothing as such, good college and good environment.

Curriculum is bit old but many new subjects have been introduced based on skill enhancement. you have to do your own research cuz you cant rely on on college for jobs. smart have not been used much. appropriate time is given you exam preparation.

Deloitte, EY, HP, ICICI, Chegg, PolicyBazaar, Accenture, Urban company, Unacademy, etc companies hire and offer jobs to students. but these are usually for hons. courses students. you are doing BA aur basic course, less options are there.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is quite minimal, there are no useless charges. I have 13k-14k per yearly for tuiton fees, 750 for examination fees etc. these can vary accorsing to your course and subjects. scholorships and rewards for good scores are too provided. placements I have not much know about, there is an active placement cell for sure.

Campus Life

Annual fests and seminars of various societies such as placement cells, Satark, etc do organize fest regularly. For sports, there is huge admiration, gym, ground and games like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball you can play and participate in competitions.

Admission

you have to crack cuet for admission. one should have maths for some specific courses. whole process of admoasion in online, very easy. reservation of OBC, SC/ST and EWS etc are there if you have proper documentation. Exams are totally depend on the nature of your course, papera are easy though.

Faculty to student ratio is almost good. teachers are very understanding and taught well the concepts. there mentorship allow tou to succed further and explore new opportinities as well. teacher are too there incase there is any issue related to study or administration or somethwing.

A Students Life at the Delhi University as a Working Professional.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course at Delhi Univeristy 8 out of 10. As a student, I'm receiving offline study materials via the post, however, you have to pay around 500 rupees for the books and notes when filling the fees every year.

Very good curriculum- focus on practical approach rather than theories. The relevancy is great for sure. As a students of economics majors I am greatly satisfied with the curriculum here. People with other subjects like Political Science and History are also often offered educational trips

Honestly, i would rate the course curriculum 8/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensive. At first I wanted B. Com but then one of my Aunt inspired me to take Economics hons instead . It provides a solid foundation for practical applications by blending the theoretical concepts for the real world applications

Just an Honest Review of SRCC, DU, Hostel, Delhi...

Placement Experience:

The placements of Shri Ram College of Commerce are one the highest in Delhi Univerisity. For the session 2023-23, the highest package was 35 lpa, average package was 10.15 lpa, median package was 8 lpa and the gross placement value was 51.6 crore. There were more than 100 recruiters from more than 15 sectors, including McKinsey & Co., BCG, Bain & Co., Kearny, Accenture, Delloite, JP Morgan & Co., etc. with more than 500 offers. The Placement Cell also launched an initiative of assissting people with special abilities to secure placements and interships. As of now, I have not settled to what I am going to do after graduation.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
