Sliet college ????

Since my childhood I have interest in computer and technology, that's the main reason behind choosing this course. There are different course curriculum provided by Sliet college. All the courses are practiced properly by learning theory and performing practicals. There are labs for practical in each department where students can learn new things.

Well, placement rate of Sliet college are low. But also placement depends on the skills and the knowledge of the individual. Only few of our seniors got placed at higher package, some got low package while some got placed out campus. The average package of Sliet can be 3 lpa and the highest package was last year of 13 lpa. The average percentage of a student should upto 80, he/she can be easily placed . My plan is to pursue mtech after completing btech.

Well fees of Sliet college is very less in comparison to other colleges as this college in centrally funded. So it's fees is less . Charges of completing btech from Sliet ranges from 2- 3lacs including all types of charges. After that also Sliet provide scholarship for those students who scored good marks in academics. Campus employment rate is low and stipend is not provided to every student. Some students who wor under a professor may get paid by them.

Every year there occurs a annual fest named madhuram . And a technical fest names techfest. There's a central Library which provides us almost every needed books including our subject related books and some extras such as journal, global liked books. There are different classes, some are normal classes while some are smart classes. In Normal classes there is board, fans, lights and table. While the smart classes includes air conditioner, smart board, modern table, projecters. There are different types of clubs that are run by students and funded by college. Clubs are divided for different occasions. In terms of sports, college performs well . Teams are divided for each sports.

If we talk about hostel rooms, there are two types of rooms, single seater and triple seater. In single seater students get a a bed , a almirah, a study table and a chair. Same things are provided in triple seater but for every student. Meal quality is not so good. Only you can survive in that food . Registration for hostel is done at time of taking admission only through the college website and all the charges of hostel are paid through the erp portal. All the hostels are located in the campus area only.

The admission process was not so tough but one should have completed all its documentation properly so there will be no less difficulty in taking admission. Application form can easily be filled by Sliet college website. Entrance exam is not so tough one should have study properly according to the syllabus of entrance exam and can easily crack th entrance exam.

The faculty to student ratio is appropriate. As I am btech student now, earlier I have completed my diploma from Sliet only. There is no disturbance in learning due to ratio of faculty to students. If there is a problem to me or any student in any topic so the students can contact to teacher, so teacher will tell at what time he/she can interact with teacher. Students can interact with teachers in working time only. Some teachers allowed us to contact them at anytime for queries.
