Likes

Library and infrastructure of library is incredible.
Campus is fully air conditioned and environment is good
Canteen food is affordable for all and hygienic

Dislikes

Parking facility is not as per requirements
Less tuck shops and stationary shops in the campus
Campus closes at 8 pm and i think it should be open for 24 hrs

aspects of the curriculum that influenced your decision to choose this course is because of placements opportunities. the curriculum prepares me in problem solving related to DSA and mathematical situations. No need of improvement as per my personal opinion. The frequency and timing of exams is 4 times and their difficulty level is moderate to high

Campus Life

The names of the annual and technical festivals are Tech Fest, festivals like holi and lohri are also celebrates with inclusion of all candidates. One can find any type of books in thapar library, it is ranked high amongst the libraries of all india. All classrooms are smart classrooms There is availability of Sports grounds and court like basketball, volleyball, lawn Tennis etc.

Admission

Eligibility of this course is 60% in graduation in field of Bsc in non medical, mathematics. One can find application form, fees structure and application date from college website. Frequency of exams is 4 times i.e 4 semester including 4 mst. Timing of exams is in month of may and end of december

Placement Experience:

It is research based university which manily focus on research so placements is not that empresive mainly students goes for higher studies after completing. Some department like computer science and pharma department give placement of average pakage 4 LPA. Probably I will go for higher studies.

In this we get brief information of computer science and more options of placement. Curriculum is based on all computer and to obvious reasons it relate to real-world as well as virtual. To my accord teachers must pay attention to practical work not to just completing syllabus and writing theories. The timing and difficulty level of exams are good. Again it's depend upon the subjects chosen.

Placement Experience:

Last year of course we are eligible for placement. Many Pharmaceutical companies like Akums Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Indswift Ltd, jubilant, SRF Ltd., etc. As well as many Institutions like Akash, Buyjus, etc. also visit our university to provide jobs to the students. The average annual price of the package is 3-7 lakhs which will vary from department to department. An average percentage of around 60% would be eligible to appear in the interview but the further process depends on the placement committee. I will do P.hD. after completion of my course.

Best Emerging Private University in North

Remarks:

Management is very good and they always work to give best environment for students. The campus is also very large. Transport facility is also 24×7. Cafeteria and eating joints are also inside the campus. Till now its very pleasant to be a part of this college. I have got to learn many new things about myself.

I had a really nice percentile of 98.9 in jee mains but what happend is i intentionally wanted to score 69 in boards i didnt know about the 75 percent jee mains criteria i got 69.7 i like to call it 69.69 but i messed up so i applied in vit as well and srm and thapar i got in all of them after giving there respective tests on the same fees but i chose thapar was better after some consultation with my relatives who are in this field and know people in this field i got admission in the end on basis on jee only in thapar and the experience is well...Read More

Bits Pilani was the other college that I applied for but in there entrance exam I didn't score enough to get a branch of my liking. I applied for VIT and SRM but didn't take admission due to poor quality of placements and peer group. I am from the General Outside Punjab quota.
