Emerging University on the North

The university environment is very positive. 24×7 library facility is available for the students, even to day scholars. The crowd in the university is also very good. The environment in the campus is very peaceful.

The overall course curriculum was well structured. My course contains subjects which are of very deep interest and i don't think that they are taught in other colleges. Now come to the exams, my course consists of 4 semester,each duration is six months. There are two MSTs(Mid Sem Test) in each sem and ETT(End Term Test) at the end of each sem. The SGPA is calculated for the sem. on performance of students in all these three tests. ETT carry more marks. The exam structure is pretty good.

There is campus placement drive at the end of each academic year. Various national and international companies visit the campus for placement. The placement rate is good in management, engineering and medical department. The internship is also provided to the students for a period of 3 months.

The most excited event of the year or we can say the college fest is TECHNO VIRSA. various cultural, Western and other events are organised over a period of 2-3 days. At the end of the event there is star night performance. Other events also continue through the academic year.

The fee is feasible. As scholarship are provided to the Worthy students and also to the students who are financial weak. My course fee is Rs 27500 per sem. You can pay the semester fee in the beginning of the sem. You can deposit the fee via online mode also.

There are many scholarship schemes. But the most common are the SC/ST scholarship schemes for SC/ST students. There is fee concession for single parent children. Also to those whose fathers are no more. The scholarship is also given to brilliant students for obtaining SGPA more than 9 in semester exams.

Extracurricular activities are good. There is annual sports meet, March past day, Symposiums, conferences and other events. Labs are fully furnished and equipped with advanced equipment. The rooms are airy and air ventilation is good in every room.

I have known many of my seniors and they are all very helpful in nature. When we are new to the college they have guided us well. They have provided us with notes and help with subjects if needed. They have always encouraged us to do well in studies and other activities.

I have applied for Msc Physics. I had to submit the application form with other relevant documents. After the submission deadline a merit list was put on, where a candidate can check that if he get merit in or not. After that there was a counseling rounds and then you get a seat.

The faculty of the college is well educated and have good experience. But there is some shortage of faculty in few departments. As this is a private University, so obviously there is always some sort of cash crunch.
