Remarks

3 years in C.V.S was very delightful and awesome so everything is good for me nothing bad in this college.

Entrance Preview

I scored 76% in my 12th exam and fortunately my name was on 1st list of college, since I had selected O.M&S.P as my main subject and C.V.S is the only college offering specialized B.A program in O.M.S.P so I opted C.V.S as my college.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The college offers Bachelor of Arts (Vocational Studies) in Tourism, Office Administration and Secretarial Practice, Management and Marketing of Insurance, Small and Medium Enterprises, Materials Management, Human Recourse Management, Marketing Management and Retail Business, and B.Com. (Hons.), B. A. (Hons.) History, B. A. (Hons.) Economics, B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science, B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics, Certificate Diploma in Foreign Language, Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism and Post Graduate Diploma in Book Publishing courses.

Internships Opportunities

At that time there was no stipend offered by college and no internship was there, so I can't give my comment on this. However one of my friend told me that college has started the same.

Placement Experience

3

There was no on campus placement that time I passed out on 2003 and no company came for placement so I think i'm not right person to answer this question.

College Events

5

Attend college fresher party and annual functions, first time saw celebrity and enjoyed it a lot. This is first ever function I celebrated at this large scale.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is not at all expensive, since it is under Delhi University so this college is very good for middle class student and for those can't pay their fees.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is awesome, canteen is a good place for chitchat and ground of the campus is awesome however lots of place for hangout. played cricket and football in this ground.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I'd not opted hostel facility and mess facility because I'm staying with my family in Delhi so hostel is not opted by me.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior was very supportive that time they helped in admission process and notes, they always helped student whenever they need. So very good memories with them too.

Exam Structure

Exams and labs schedule are bit hectic because of only 1-2 days leaves are provided between exam, however date sheet is set by Delhi University only.

Faculty

4

Faculty of the college are very good and supportive, they are always available whenever student required any kind of assistance. In short best faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
