The availability of books and other study materials were good
Teachers of college were all were perfect for their subjects
Placement cell of college was very efficient

Dislikes

The infrastructural hygiene was not good at the college
College was very far from my home as it take 2 hrs travel
Sports ground is not available for all students of campus

Course Curriculum Overview

Bachelors of commerce is essential course for the students who are finding their career in commerce and business. There were different subjects through one can enhance his business and marketing approach for the real life managerial decisions. Exams held on semester basis with different assignment and projects.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There were different internship opportunities in the pgdav for their students from different companies frankly not the big companies but for the learning there were some which were good. I had been an intern in INSPIREE DIGITAL as HR for 3 months

Placement Experience

There is a placement cell in the pgdav which is full of efficient students and teachers. Only final year students are eligible for the campus placements although 1st and 2nd year can apply for internships. The top companies pitched by college for placement were EY, WIPRO, BDO etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was affordable according to me and the payment was to be done on yearly basis and semester exams fees were aside. There were some concessions available for EWS, although I didn't applied for the same so I don't know the process or knowledge about it

Campus Life

College campus was huge and there were different societies for extra curricular activities in the college like singing dancing poetry etc and sports too. There were different fests and functions organised by college. The availability of books and other study materials was easily accessible

Admission

The admission process was simple as well as complicated at same time. There was a admission form and after registration I had to check and ensure different cuttoffs and prospects of colleges. I took admission under obc quota and there was no such complications regarding to it.

Daulat ram college through the eyes of drcians

Placement Experience:

From the 2nd year our internship is started and after 2nd year i.e, in the starting of 3rd year we are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies every year visit Daulat ram College for campus placement. Like:- Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, ICICI, HDFC, DE Shaw, Amazon, and Zomato. I have CA in my mind after graduation.

Hands On experience !!

Placement Experience:

Students in my college can go for placements starting from 5th semester . many big companies including big four (4 ) visit the campus .The highest package was 23.5 lpa and median and avg package is 6.5 lpa .Most students who have got placements are 7 cgpa or above . Companies also provide intership opportunities for better placemnets .We also get guidance from resume building ,interviews and preparation .After finishing my degree I aim for placements and afterwards CAT forIIM's .

A beautiful memory

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the daulat ram course 8/10. One of the main reasons i chose this course was that the syllabus felt balanced between theory and practical understanding..but the only drawback is that sometimes it felt a bit more theory based rather than practical exposure , the exam pattern is consistent mid-sem internals and end-sem finals twice a year. Internals are usually manageable, but end-semester exams depend a lot on the teacher marking style.

The Placements in my college are decent. In third year, the students become eligible for campus placements whereas there is a huge event named INCREMENTUM for job and internship fair wherein many HR mangers from companies and Non profit organisations like Cognizen Innovations, Pehchaan - The Street School, etc. takes interviews of interested students for internships as well as jobs.

My pov of college

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is quite good, from 2nd or 3rd year students are eligible. Deloitte visited recently. I'm not aware about this, placements cells are made in college who take care of all this. A good amount of students get place, approx 20 students were placed this tym in Deloitte. I will be continuing with ACCA only.

Course curriculum is as per Delhi University's official curriculum, so it's pretty good. But its very theoretical as well so if I would suggest an improvement it would be this to make the curriculum more real and practical life based rather than rote learning.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
