Course Curriculum Overview
Statistics was always my subject of interest, so I have chosen this course due to my interest in the subject. I think I have made a great decision, not only by choosing the course but also by taking admission here. This course makes us face real life problems and we are shown how all of these are handled with care and sincerity. The professors are really cooperative and the exam levels are too damn high that it examines not only your knowledge but also your presence of mind.

Placement Experience
After graduating, the students become eligible for placement and the campusing is very important and also the internships play a major role here. There are many big companies that visit the campus as, Microsoft, Infosys etc. They make a huge offer to these students because the skills, they learn through this curriculum, are highly demanded. According to the records, highest package is around 22 LPA and average package is nearly 12 LPA. Students get placements according to their learnings, so there is no guaranteed percentage. I have no plans till now.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are some scholarships availed by the college authority for the students and that will get announced only by them. Rest there is nothing like assistance and all that. But paid internship opportunities are there so that one can avail his/her own course fees to some extent.
Campus Life
This college is full of fests. There are departmental fests and as well as fests of many societies. There are cultural, tech-based, astronomical, fashion related etc. many types of fests. Library is full of useful books and the library is one of the most ideal libraries one have ever visited. Different books on different topics are there, which are also availed for all xaverians. Every classroom consists of projector for teaching assistance. Cricket, Football, Basketball, Chess, Dart and other many sports are played here and the college team is on of the best college teams in Kolkata.
Admission
Generally the cut-off is not same for every year. For Statistics, you need to have good marks in Mathematics, Statistics, English, Computer in your boards exam (Average 95%). One can get the application form easily online just by searching the college name and then visiting the website. Dates are very strict to be followed and one, who has applied for admission, needs to check the website regularly for latest notices. The admission process is damn smooth and it all follows the same procedure for each and everybody.
