Entrance Preview

DCAC ranked 6th among best commerce colleges in Delhi University,I got 94% in 12th and DCAC first cutoff for BCom Hons was 97.25%.I got admission in 4th cutoff in BCom Hons. I know most of the students prefer north campus for their undergraduate courses but honestly study in dcac is just like other colleges in north campus. when i got admission in dcac i thought after the first year I apply for migration in other college but when I completed my first year with very good marks I forgot about migration. DCAC thought me many life learning lessons which I never forgot in lifetime.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is very good, If you attend the lecture in college on regular basis you will definitely get good marks around more than 8 SGPA. The teaching method is very good, There is no need for Tuition classes if you listen to college lecture carefully. Teachers are always there for solving student doubts.

Campus life is very good, besides events, there are many extracurricular activities organized in college like debates competition, cricket tournament etc which increases the overall growth of students.I thought boys ratio is more than girls ratio.IN Dcac there is no discrimination in terms of religion, caste etc are students are equal, if anyone finds out in violence with other or discriminating other, strict action is to be taken by the college administration. which include jail or fine also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the daulat ram course 8/10. One of the main reasons i chose this course was that the syllabus felt balanced between theory and practical understanding..but the only drawback is that sometimes it felt a bit more theory based rather than practical exposure , the exam pattern is consistent mid-sem internals and end-sem finals twice a year. Internals are usually manageable, but end-semester exams depend a lot on the teacher marking style.

Course curriculum is as per Delhi University's official curriculum, so it's pretty good. But its very theoretical as well so if I would suggest an improvement it would be this to make the curriculum more real and practical life based rather than rote learning.

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.
