Course Curriculum Overview

This course will help me in upsc exam and also open doors for teaching . It has many skill based couses ,so it's really good. I don't think improvement as such is needed. Exam is after every 6 months and are moderate level.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

No tuition fee hike is there. Tuition fees are very low but they have exam fees too which are high. Aid is available for SC ST students through called FSS scheme. Campus employment-type things are not there here for my course.

Campus Life

There is a Diwali fest in Nov and some annual fest in February or March called Shrijan and freshers and many more. We can also attend a fest of colleges within the university. Books are easily available in the library. We have projectors in every classroom. Many sports are there in college along with NCC. There is nss which is a social worker group of students.

Admission

Eligibility of this course is that you have passed 12th and cuet exam. You can find application info at DU website. I don't get any reservation. 4to 5 exams with easy to hard difficulty level. Admission process is OK.

The wonders of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

It DU, so i think for many students it comes down to if you are able to make it to cutt off list. So my decision was based on it. I cleared the cutt off list for english hons so i took it. I wanted to make my way for govt job, so it was all about getting a degree regardless of what subject i was getting. I think curriculum just make you educated enough to get to know but its the college life that make you come face to face with the real world. exams every 6 months i.e every semester i think its good.

my college provides internships and jobs at the end of each year, they bring about 50 companies and all students are eleigble, they have to fill forms for registration and then when the companies come they have to go for interview, where the hr are sitting of that company, if they wish to apply

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really like Human Geography which let me to opt for this paper. Besides theory papers, we also have practical papers every semester through which we conduct surveys, interviews, research which helps us in preparing for the real world applications as well as further academic pursuits if we want to go in the field of Remote sensing or GIS. I feel that for papers including research or management, we should be showcasing how we can mitigate them or adapt in such scenarios and also make drafts for writing a research for further pursuits. However, as the time is limited it is quite understandable as to why its not conducted. We have two exams in a year and they are quite relevant and easy

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and may be seen as average in aspect of my college . I selected my course as I saw myself holding potential in the field of language , English was my strong interest. The curriculum prepares a basic and needed knowledge for everyone accordingly and yes , it may be seen as an important aspect in higher education, experiences from professors and teachers is shared by live demonstrations and examples in order to achieve a good understanding. The improvement in the curriculum may be that of a much regular based classes as there is a frequent cut in classes and sometimes some teachers may slack during the day cancelling classes and stuff . The frequency of exams and timings are arranged and not much complicated related to my course and difficulty may be considered moderate .

SPMCW is Special!!

I applied at colleges such as LSR and Gargi purely because they were also girls colleges and are above ranked than my college. In DU though a proper merit system works and in that merit my score couldn't get admission in those two colleges.
