Campus life, the campus is great with different backgrounds of students

No restrictions in going out of the campus. Just have to write name on register

Dislikes

Food, sometimes it is very rare that food quality is bad
Location of campus is outside the Raipur
Every day is hectic filled with quizzes assignment projects exams.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is good the environment is good. They have library book access for students online access whatever book we want the college will pay for that. Great teachers with great backgrounds and experience. The whole experience is good

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1600000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall amount for the course is 16 lakh and it includes mess charges, hostel room charges, tuition fee charges. Job role are every type marketing, finance, HR , consultant, IT , and so many others

Campus Life

The campus life is beautiful but at the same time scare too, as we have fun in cultural activities there will be something in every week unti and unless examinations are going on. Clubs and committees plays major role here to manage the campus and students. Scary for the work load you will get for the assignment exams projects etc.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel we are provided Wi-Fi, radiant cooling room's, purified water, 24h running hot water in the taps, lift in hostel, washing machine, food is really good there are canteen also if by any chance you miss your meal.

Hostel Fee: INR 130000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of course is you have to crack the entrance exam for MBA that is CAT. If you score more then different mba college will send u the application and you have to give the GD and PI. Sometimes they will just take PI

Interview Experience

4.5

There was no group discussion for the admission in IIM Raipur but I appeared for the entrance test for mba college that is CAT in this there are 3 sections - VARC -DILR - Quantitative aptitude. The difficulty level of exam is really high.

SIMER: A first batch student's Journey and how it became a Launchpad for my career

Placement Experience:

We were appearing for the placement process from the 4th Semester, however, our batch was being prepared for the placement process from day 1. The first placement process that I appeared for was for Shriram Transport Finance in feb 2008. A few common recruiters who came for our batch were HDFC Bank, Shriram Transport Finance, CIPLA, Naukri.com, Indiabulls Vandana Ispat etc. One of the offers that I had from HDFC bank and the CTC offered b HDFC bank was 300000. Our complete batch was having a offer , some of us had 1 offer and some of us had many , I had offer from India Bulls, Shriram transport Finance and HDFC Bank I joined HDFC bank after getting my degree.

SIMER- a journey to remember

Placement Experience:

In first year for internship program college only provide us opportunities. I got selected in three different companies for summer internship program which was paid. Then for final placement we experienced best support from placement cell. There was 25 companies for 60 students. I got selected for 5 different companies. I joined the best one.

Eligibility of course is depend on your CAT percentile and your past experience and academics. You can find application form in IIM website and application fees is 1200 and date would be in August to October. Reservation is based on caste and physical condition. IIM Raipur in nutshell

Admission through CAT MBA Entrance Exam followed by GDPI. There are different cut-off lists declared on the basis of category reservation. For example, the highest cut off like in my case will always be for general engineer males followed by general engineer females and so on.
