I have Great passion for engineering that is why I choose this stream. Faculty : student ratio is 1:10 . The teachers are well Qualified from government institutes and they teach very stratigically. The semester exam is little difficult.

Internships Opportunities

There are several companies like TCS and other government sectors gave opportunisties for internship. But very few companies gave Stipend During internship. From third year we have to do lots of projects and on the basis of this project we got placement.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester every students become eligible for placement. There several companies Visits our campus in every year like capgimini, TCS and cognigent and pinaccle etc. 80 Percent student got placement. My plans after degree is to do M. Tech.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fess will hike in every year but not so much expensive. Aikyashree and SVMCM and many more scholarship is given and approved by the college. All teachers mainly our HOD help us financially and 80 Percent student got placement in every year.

Campus Life

One Annual fest organised by the college in every year. And tech fest are organised in every month. The library is full of every type of books and jurnals. There are lots of amminites in class room. In every year our college organised Annual sports. There are so many clubs like Arts Club and many more in our college. All clubs run by students.

Admission

Eligibility for this course is student have to pass 12th or 3 years diploma. The Application form is available in college's website and you can also get Admission through wbjee and jee main. Application date is always available in college's website.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190
