Likes

Laboratory is quite clean and chemicals are available much better.
Laboratory faculty are experienced and lab assistance are very helpful.
Each Classroom have each projector and classroom are quite big.

Dislikes

Laboratory classes are quite small according to students.
Classroom for our department is not sometimes unavailable.
Teachers are changes many times so cooperation is difficult.

Course have many different subjects and have to learn many things and gaining of knowledge.Now faculty members are teache carefully but everything is not possible to complete your doubt, then you have to co-operate with teachers and becomes friends with them.

Fees structure is quite average considered to any private universities. But fees can be considered as your financial condition. Scholarship you can get according ith your merit by University and government scholarship is there.

Campus Life

Campus Life at first I feel not enjoying but after a semester I feels the campus vibes.Then infrastructure of SNU is quite better , here others students are friendly and also they want to stay lonely.

Admission

I get admitted in sister Nivedita University by researching in many different websites. Then I go to the many universities but SNU gives more facilities and lab is proper and teachers are carefully teaching us.

My college BCDA COLLEGE OF PHARMACY AND TECHNOLOGY is a very reputable and good college for education and placement. Students who are allready completed the 7th semester are eligible for campus placement drive. There are many companies are visited for interview and placement offers. Alkem, Sun Pharma, Alembic, Torrent, Glenmark and other companies are came for interview. The package are mainly around 1.8-2.6 LPa in average. forty percent students are prepared themselves for interview and others are looking for higher education and others are prepared for other services.

Placement Experience:

This college has a good placement record. Mainly in B.Pharm, 90% of students get placed in some good companies. Cipla, Mankind etc companies come and give the opportunity to students. The average package is 4-5 lakhs per annum and some students got the highest package like 15 lakhs per annum.

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.

Remarks:

Our college need more improvements as they are Charging high semester fees and in return we are getting nothing. They need improvement in every thing for b.pharm at least. There is no internship no placement then for what they are Charging 79000 per semester with 2000 examination fees.
