Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose this course as it mainly focuses on computer science without any need to study the other science subjects. There is one teacher for around 60 students. The faculty is highly qualified with most of them holding PhD .Exams are held semester wise and not at all difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

The top recruitors that came to the college for internship opportunities were ferns and petals, godrej ,etc.More than 300 students got the internship opportunities. Internships are provided on the basis of skills the student possesses.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of the college is really descent for all the courses compared to other DU colleges. The college also provides financial assistance and scholarship upto 60% to the needed students . Also there is a placement cell for on campus placements.

Campus Life

3.5

The annual fest i.e., priyadarshini is conducted in the month of April and fest of other college societies are conducted throughout the year. The college is home to a huge library with nearly all the course books as well as other books. The classroom has all the basic amenities including projectors. There is a college team for all well known sports and different societies for extra curricular activities. The college has 25+ societies namely enactus dsc, 180dc , jamini, etc.

Admission

The course is open to all students with computer and mathematics in their 12th and who have secured good marks in CUET exam. 400+ marks in CUET is enough for admission and may be even less for minority students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a research-oriented field with a dynamic set of papers in it, i.e., biochemistry, cell biology, microbiology, physiology, pathology, immunology, genetics, pharmacology, epidemiological data analysis, toxicology, and many such.. Handsome parts of the syllabus and books match with the MBBS curriculum. I got into this course as I was earlier aspiring for NEET, which I couldn't crack. The faculty to student ratio is 1:6. All of the faculty here are Ph.D.'s from various prestigious universities from both India and abroad. Some of them are even double masters or Ph.D. holders. The term exams were held at regular times each time without any delay (just a bit of delay in between because of the catastrophic COVID-19). Post-COVID, everything has now resumed seamlessly and punctually. In order to ace the term examination, one needs to thoroughly go through the syllabus, essential readings, and class notes.

Placement Experience:

I got an opportunity in the final years of my college but due to covid lockdowns, I was unable to work upon. College placement cell is well enough but not best it is a field college needs to work upon. When lockdowns ended my college provide me with an internship platform but that was not much interested to hire us.

Higher education has never been more accessible, and there have never been more options for every type of budget, learning style, and goal. Having so many options is great, with one caveat. You have to decide where to pursue your goals. It's a big decision, and it can be hard to find quality and pertinent information to help you on your way.
