Likes

Infrastructure of the college is good for the students.
The ambience of the college is also nice.
The faculty of the college is supportive.

Dislikes

There are no proper spaces for parking vehicles.
There are not so good smart teaching facility.
The equipments of the labs are not in good condition.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was so keen to know about AI artificial intelligence and ML machine learning and i was also had a interest in coding. We have 15 sections(8 sections of AIML and 7 sections of DS) and each section contains 60 students. The faculty only comes here for gaining experience which means there are not many experienced teachers.

Internships Opportunities

There are companies who gives internships to students and selects the students through resume shortlisting. But unfortunately not all the students are lucky enough to get the internship and most of us remain without internship.But we can apply for internships off campus.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester , the students are eligible for the campus placements. There are many companies who visit our college like cognizant, capgemini, TCS, etc. The highest package from our campus is of 36LPA . I am not so confident about the college placement ,I will apply for companies from off campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

I opted for B. TECH CSE in AIML whose total fee is 397000 INR and i didnt get any scholarship since i am not from west bengal(i come from jharkhand). They provide scholarship only to the students of west bengal.

Campus Life

The college infrastructure is well built and organised . The campus can accomodate many students. The library is too small but they provide books when you need and there are plenty of books. Last year they organnsed a grand fest and they invited a reknowned artist Nakash Aziz.

Admission

i got to know about this college from internet and the minimum eligibility criteria for my course B. TECH CSE in AIML is 60% and they also consider WB JEE rank for this course. The website of this doesnt work properly sometimes for admission process.

Interview Experience

3.5

No i didnt had to aattend any GD for admmission. But i gave a wriitten examination but the paper wasnt so tough. The students along with their parent(s) has to physically attend the college for admission process.

Should I Choose IEM.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for placement is from 3rd year,with tier 1 companies visiting like Google, Amazon along with mass requiters like TCS, Capgemini, Wipro etc.Last year heights placement package was 72LPA offered to 15 students and average was 2-3 LPA.

Okay college and decent placement

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is same as all low 3 tier colleges which is nearly 4-5 lpa average salary given by mass recuitor companies .The companies are infosys , ltimindtree , accenture , ibm , capgemini , cognigent , etc .The placement rate is nearly 60 to 70 percent.

Heritage Institute of Technology: A Detailed Observation

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements from third year that is after 5th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant and IBM are amongst the mass hirers. Almosy 80 percent of the students get placed every year and the top 10 percent of the students receive high paying job offers. The average package is around 4.86 LPA and in 2023, the highest package was 16 LPA and in 2022, the highest package was 44 LPA. Talking about my future plans, I wish to pursue my masters abroad after completing my undergraduate course here.

Placement Experience:

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).

I applied for Adams University and then techno India University but everyone said this university is better than those universities so I applied for this university and it is truly great rather than other universities. MY BRAINWARE

Addmission process was quite good, as eligibility of the course only 60 students can be admitted in these course. There is a minimum requirement of 60%marks in the 12th , directly come to the college for addmission related queries, it is very good feature that you can fill the form up online.
