- There is a problem in the college regarding the SVMCM Scholarship for the Btech students which is taking a lot of time to settle up.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is very good ad there is no doubt in it. The aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is that there are amny job opportunities in it as i teaches both Mechanical and Technological aspects of an engineer. Actually there are no such improvements except for some teachers to improve their mindset while teaching and nothing else. The frequency of the exams is also good and it is not that hard to pass the exams.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lots of companies that gives the internship opportunities like Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, etc to eligible students and they can apply for it after 7 semester. Actually i dont know the exact details of the intership opportunities cause i havenot applied yet as i am in semeseter 2 of the 1st year. but hearing from the senniors the intership experiences are too good.
Placement Experience
There is a 98% chance for placements in our college. The students become elligible for campus placements from 7 semester. There are a lots of companies that visited our college and the names of few of them are - Adobe, Hoichoi, Microsoft, etc The highest package was got bya girl of 36LPA and the average package is 3-4LPA. The percentage of placements is 98%. Afer getting the degree, i will try for placements and if i dont get a placement then i will go for the higher studies i.e. Mtech.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees for mmy course is 144400. The fee structure is : Semester 1: Application Fee - 5000 Admission Fee - 35000 Tution Fee - 20700 Student Registration Fee - 5000 Library Fee- 2500 Laboratory Fee - 5000 Semester 2 - Tution Fee - 66200 Library Caution Deposit - 3000 University Caution Deposit - 2000 Semester 3 : Tution Fee - 61700 Library Fee - 2500 Laboratory Fee - 1000 Semester 4 : Tution Fee - 64200 Laboratory Fee - 1000 Semester 5 - Tution Fee - 55700 Library Fee - 2500 Laboratory Fee - 1000 Semester 6 - Tution fee - 58200 Laboratory Fee - 1000 Semester 7 - Tution Fee - 25400 Laboratory Fee - 1000 The students can apply for Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Scholarship for them and the amount varies from courses to courses.
Campus Life
the average experience is very good well focused. There are a lots of events held in the college. The range and accessibility of the books is also very large. there are a lots of books available for each subjects. There are a lots of facilities and technologies in the classrooms like ac, projectors, etc. There are a lots of sports played in the college like cricket, football, volleyball, caroom, tennis, chess, etc.
Admission
I chose this college cause it is a value for money college. The other colleges that i applied for are - Adamas University, Swami Vivekananda University. Comparing this college(Brainware University) with Adamas University - The course fee is very high in Adamas University than Brainware University. Total Fee for Btech CSE in Adamas University is 8,00,000 while 419600 in Brainware university, meaning half the price. The fee structure in Swami vivekananda University is 3,60,000 but it hasnt much placement opportunities so brainware univeristy is like all for one with low fees . No, i didnt get rejected from other colleges i just chose this because it takes less money than Adamas which is very high and a little more than swami vivekannda with less placements opportunities.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is like there are mentors for each class and there are two groups in each class in which there are 1 faculty each for every group. There are many teachers who i like but among them sayar sir is the best. I like him cause he indulges with the students as a friend but there are some limits to it and he is very good teacher with amazing teaching skills. The teacher i personally dont like is Shuvendu Sir, cause i feel like he has the problem of ego and he doesnt care who is in front of him(any student) and slams the student very bad if the student has done a single, small mistake. There are basically 3 written exams. 1. Class Test 1 2. Class Test 2 3. Semester End Exams
Interview Experience
In the time of admission in Brainware university, they conduct a online MCQ based test for those who scored below 80% in Higher secondry Exam , The topics of question/written exam was from class 12's syllabus. The process was very easy and there was the exams for only those who scored less than 80% in the last qualifying exam. I prepared for these rounds by just revising the last class's syllabus(means class 12th syllabus)
Night Life
The nightlife like in the campus is worth looking but it has a restriction of going inside till 8 pm after that no one is allowed to go out(for hostel students) or go inside the the campus. There are two gyms and 2 cafeterias also called the canteen and the food court. The hostel is also very good and affordable one.
